The Dark Tavern

"Because... Because I love you Tela..." said Vash slowly blushing.

Tela's head jerked up. "Really?" she asked wiping her tears away.

"Efcours..." said Vash. Not even him was arrogant enough to make fun of things like this.

Tela didn't know whether to believe him or not but just sat there. "I want to pass, Vash. I'm too dangerous to be around."

"So? It doesn't matter to me..."

Tela blushed. "Thanks."

"And anyways, you need a full moon... IT comes once a month. This month's full moon is over. Theres a whole month ahead... By that time we'll find the cure"

Tela nods. "i guess." she said not caring how much blood she actually lost.

Vash looked at the cloak, soaked with blood. "Let me take a look at your wounds..." said Vash wondering if he could help.

Tela took her cloak off and ripped her sleeves off revealing deep lacerations on each arm from the claws of the werewolf.

Vash took out some herbs from a nearby tree and started to treat Tela's wounds gently.

tela winced at his touch. "thanks."

After Vash finished treating Tela's wounds he looked up at Tela and smiled. "Well, we better go... THe others are probaby worrying..." said Vash.

tela shook her head. "I just wanna sit, alone, for right now."

Vash nodded. "Well, I'll see you later then" he said walking off.

Tela bit her lip. "Maybe." she said softly watching walk away.

Vash walked throu the forest, to the end, he sat down on a log.

Yue ran up to him. "So?"

"Well... Seems like she'll stay" said Vash.

Yue nodded. "Good. You can stay with her while Cykes, Sakura, and I go to the nearest village and find a potion for Tela and for you."
