The Dark Tavern

Sakura didn't say anything. She only kept walking.

Yue hung his head. Just great, he stuck his foot in his mouth.

Sakura sighed. "I'm not mad at you, Yue, I'm just mad," she said without stopping her fast pace or turning.

"But I hurt you, and who are you mad at. You couldn't have stopped her."

She stayed silent for a moment. Then she turned. "I'm not mad at any one person in particular! I'm just mad, ok?"

With that said, she resumed walking, although she was actually going at such a pace it was considered more of a jog. She needed to find a nearby village and soon. She wasn't sure if Yue was following her and didn't look to check.

Yue sighed and flew behind Sakura.

"Dont worry.. Just rest..." answered Vash.

Tela nodded and was soon asleep in Vash's arms.

Vash smiled. He kissed Tela softly before falling asleep as well.

Tela woke with a start hours later.

Vash woke up as well, he rubbed his eyes a little before turning to face Tela.

Tela groaned. Cursing elequantly under her breath in elvish she stood and rubbed her eyes. Her own memories flooding her dreams. The imprisonment, brutal beatings and conquering, it was a little more than she could take.

Vash suddenly started to cough up blood, in a few seconds he vomited down on the ground.

Tela's eyes widened. "Vash, luv, are you okay?" she asked on her knees beside him.

"Not sure..." said Vash before coughing up some more blood. He hoped Yue and Sakura would find the cure soon...

Tela bit her lip. Now she was truly worried. "Maybe you need to drink some blood to stop throwing up?" she knew it sounded stupid.

Vash shook his head he seemed to stop coughing and throwing up, thought Vash knew the effects would come back later.

tla was almost in tears. "Vash." she whispered. "what's going to happen to us?"
