Lilly, the adopted daughter...?!

Lilly description was nothing similar to Petunia.
Lilly looks: dark red hair,bright green eyes,petite
Petunia looks:blond hair,horse face, tall (I think..)

IMO Lilly was adopted because her parents were proud of her when they found out she's a witch...proud.... that's the key word here u can explain why they were in 3 different possibilities:
1)They can be proud because they ,like herm parents, supportive and thinking magic is cool
2)They might be from long generation of squibs and finally there is a witch in the family...
3)Because their adopted daughter is gifted with magic (unlike petunia)

The best part in this theory is that maybe Lilly was from DD familly his daughter or his brother daughter(their looks aka red hair) or connected to the weasley family somehow...
(isn't ron said somthing about it in book 1 on the ride to hogwarts..)
the only flaw is DD tells harry that noone left from his family but the dursley's
but DD can't be always right maybe he is wrong....maybe he somehow lost contact with her or lost her when she was a baby....

(and If someone think DD would have known his own grand granddaughter by looks he might not recognise her ,think about the possibility that she looks nothing alike DD or wealey's but the hair)

on another note maybe james was family relate(like uncle) to snape (or my nickname for him "exploding snap" LOL 🤣 )...?
because all pure blood related somehow....search for clues 4 it .....

Sorry, but Lily and Petunia were real sisters. We know this because Dumbledore told Harry that at the end of Order of the Phoenix. Remember when he was explaining about the magic that he put on their family (the Dursley's) and that as long as Harry still called it home, Voldemort couldn't touch him there. And he did it because Petunia had the same blood as Lily. So in accepting Harry, she sealed the charm that he put on their house. But of course, there's still a back story as to why Petunia was so jealous as a kid and Lily was still going to school.

OMG!!!! Based on this evidence, I was adopted... my brother is blond, I'm dark... my son is a redhead... my dad is bald... I'm taller than anyone else in my family...

Even though they are related, you know that there still has to be some back story there that will reveal why Petunia is the way she is. I mean, how weird was it when she said that Dementors were the one's who guarded Azkaban, the Wizard Prison? Wow! That blew my mind. So you know that she obviously knows more than she's letting on! 😉

i don't think she was adopted, harry is protected because of the blood they share so yeah

u know, am i the only one who thinks the apparent relationship between lily and petunia is weird.I mean c;mon! how many sisters actually hate eachother like that only because of some jealousy!i think there's a deeper reason petunia hates lily so fiercely, or that does she even hate lily like she claims to?! yep that was what i thought after reading the first post. no, it mightn't be.

Yeah, I think too that it's weird that Petunia hated Lily, but like I said, there's obviously some back story that we don't know of yet. All I said is that neither of them could be adopted by the charm that Dumbledore put on the Dursley's house. On an earlier post, I did express my thoughts on this, that of course there was something about Petunia that we are going to find out.

yeah there is still a lot we don't know about Petunia, for all we know she could have liked james and stuff, and thats why shes so mad (hmm good fanfic topic. . .) but yea we just have to wait. . and wait
