I do like how Skottie put the slight variations into the two. makes sense and makes them very indentifiable.
Venom seem's to have a great bond((excuse the pun)) with his other. hence it always looks rather calm.
Where Carnage is such a nut and his other reflects it with such speratic movement. You can see Patricia is having a similar looking problem probably due to lack of experiance rather than lunacy.
kinda like how the other five asked Eddie how to comincate with there other's. but "if" Patricia was having similar issues.....wouldnt Eddie just mop the floor with her in this scuffel?
threw experiance and better teamwork with his other...but then again it looks like maybe the two are not trying to go all out. but thats just a guess....
Back in the day Venom was normal sized yes. 6'3, 260
but he has gotten much larger
Venom underwent a change remember? it started in
Spectacular Spider-Man (Vol. 2)
#1 - The Hunger (Part 1 0f 5)
after Brocks cancer had progressed to a point were If the Symbiote leaves him he dies.
this change prompted the Symbiote to get unusualy large.
It did take a while to get used to the newer version of Venom for me, too. I bought Spectacular Spidey because of the initial arc, and I was put off by the exaggerated proportions of the manga-style art, but thought overall the quality of the artwork--especially the scenery and backgrounds--was beautiful.
Eddie Brock's appearance was surprising, but the only thing I really took issue with was his dialogue--it didn't fit the Eddie Brock that I knew--it seemed uneducated and was perforated with double negatives. I did like the story, however, and thought it was very good overall.
Obviously, having read that arc 2 years ago, I was very open to the look of the Tsunami Venom series--and really appreciate the way that the SSM arc layed the foundation for the Tsunami series.
Now, the style of these books is extremely appealing to me--though most people are resistant or just plain determined to hate it. Like it or not, it's here to stay. Comic books, like anything else, must evolve to survive, or risk death by lack of interest.
