Venom vs Carnage(and other series)

I thought she was going to be the host of Carnage's spawn in Venom vs. Carnage, actually. Guess I was wrong about that...

That's exactly why Milligan's writing it instead of me.

But I do think I could spice up the dialogue a bit. It's not as snappy as it should be--though I have chuckled at least once or twice thusfar...

Happy fun-fun dialogue is HARD though, especially when you write in a vacuum. Its easier to add the humor to someone elses stuff than it is to generate it in yours, somehow. Maybe its becuase the more dramatic elements overshadow some writer's minds. I don't know though, Milligan was funny for Chase and for Shade?

I liked most of the dialogue. Especially in the first one... 2nd was a bit weaker but entertaining nonetheless

Milligan has yet to nail down the Venom mindset--and I guess humor just comes easier to some...I never had trouble evoking a chuckle from anyone. Still, when working with serious subject matter it can be more difficult, so I see your point there, red.
You have to admit though, for Venom, it's considerably more down-to-business than usual, don't you agree? But, he is bent on protecting his lineage, so I guess I can understand his desire to focus on the task at hand.

Well, seem's Marvel is pulling the same BS they did with the first issue of Venom VS Carnage. They've delayed Venom #18 once again, now saying its gonna be released on the 15th.

Goddamn... how do you guys keep up with this? I get confused.

Today i bought Venom Vs Carnage 2 and i must say the art work is spectacular. Really out done themselves on this one. I missed #1 which is a dissapointment but ah well. I also bought ' Venom :Run' along with it, a massive book where he fights Wolverine. Looks awesome.
