Raevynn cursed under her breath. She would have to come back for Spiers. Raevynn ran towards the noise and came towards what was left of a pelican. She waited for the yell, and then kneeled down next to a huge peice of metal that was once the pelicans ramp. Someone was burried underneath it. She quickly pulled it off of him, using all of her strength. Once that was done, she looked to see a familiar marine. She crouched down next to him. "Well... Im not a marine, but mind if i help anyways?"
*A covenant dropship nears and is hit by multiple rocket bursts from the other pelican gunship inbound.. marines cheer as the dropship breaks up and hits the ground* "Hey hey!! take that ya bastards!" *The pelican flies right over then its boosters push it strieght up dodging a Plasma blast from the cannon above... It flies to the side as the marines hurry to pull Dennis and raevynn out from the downed pelican. "Dont worry about spiers.. The war is over for him! come on!!" *The marines rush towards a forerunner facility leading to the covenant controlled top portion where the generators for the cannon are at..* "go go go!" *Heavy gunfire is exchanged between covenant grunts and Marines on opposite sides of the snow covered field.*
*The cockpit, which was buried underneith snow gave no sound.. Maybe 2 dead marines also sit there, forever lost in this place.. * "Here they come! right side!!" *A wraith tank makes its way toward the marines firing its main gun into the right side.. Rocks fly everywhich direction and another marine is slain..*"Get down!!" *Another plasma bolt flies past* "Damnit! jason is dead.. get his rocke- *Sound of an explosion drowns him out as the pelican uses the last of its rockets to obliterate the wraith and a few elites around it* "yes! come on!!" *The pelican spins around in mid air and begins doing strafing runs on the grunts and elites gaurding the door way... Numerous shades fire at the pelican but are destroyed by the pelican.. It does three more fly by's destroying most of the gaurding force then drops off seven more marines at your location.. the pilot waves and begins to take off.. it gets about 40 feet off the ground and is hit by the huge cannon at the top of the mountain..."Oh shit!!!" Yells a marine.. as wreckage makes its way down.. The sgt rallys the marines around raevynn* "If we dont get to that cannon those other pelicans will never make it to that island! we gotta go!! "*they begin to run through the covenant frontline picking up numerous weapons. and eventually entering the facility*

Raevynn yells at a Sargeant. "Get your men up there unseen!! Once youre up there take out as many covenant as you can, Ill rondevous with your team later." Raevynn looks at Dennis "Are you alright?"
She looks at his thigh. "You definatly did. Ill fix you up after i get Spiers out of there. I know hes still alive." She starts digging through the snow, untill she reaches a small hole made from the impact. "Dennis, sit down and stay out of sight, ill be right back." Raevynn kicks at the hole in the pelican, breaking some of it off so that she can fit. She climbs through feet first and lands inside the dark pelican. There is barely any light at all, but with her inhanced vision she can see almost perfectly. She makes her way to the cockpit door and listens for a few seconds.
*No sound comes from the Disfigured door.. A hole in the door shows a man in the pilots seat.. head tilted back... Two other marines lay dead nearby, jason the rocket soldier and another marine whos face is burnt too badly to be recognized... The inside reeks of death* "Sirs.. we REALLY need to go.." *The sound of Covenant dropships becomes louder*
Raevynn pulls herself up and out of the drop ship. "Dennis, Youre not going anywhere with that leg." She turns to the last few marines that are still waiting. Go on and meet up with the others." They looked confsued. "Thats an order marines." she adds. They start to move out and she turns to Dennis. Get inside." She kicks down some more of the opening to the pelican so that Dennis can fit.
"Raevynn pulled Dennis inside, then climbed back outside and looked for something to cover the entrance with. She found a fallen tree, and drug it towards the pelican. Their hide out would be unnoticable covered in snow. And with all the other wreckage around, they would never even look twice at it. Or so she hoped. Raevynn pulled the tree over the entrance, and then squeezed between a branch and into the ship. She landed on her back, then rolled over and got up
