Raevynn finished with her sniper rifle, and straped it to her back again. Thinks seemed calm and didnt show much sighn of changing, so she removed the armor on her back, and let the wounds breath. She took in a deep breath as she watchd the sun set, and was reminded of the other spartans. She was the only Generation III spartan left, and she still had some adjusting to do. She was now leading marines into battle, rather than specially trained killing machines bred for combat.
*Day turns to night... and night back into day* *Lt spiers Is standing on the edge of the Forerunner building... staring off below* [The forerunner building is built into a cliff.. a large Landing like structure juts out into the sky about 30 ft or so.. Behind is a Large open aired structure with no vents leading in or out.. There are four rooms.. each being used for different things.. one of the rooms is a larger inside Hangar complex where the Armor and Pelicans are stored... there is a room connected to that with the fuel and ammunition for these vehicles.. Back to the main room connected to the landing is two additional rooms, one being the armory//Barracks were bunks and Lockers are kept.. and then a Command room where a table is setup with some maps from pelican cameras.. That is keyes' room..] *Spiers looks to his left to see a warthog with its aft barely sticking out from the entrance.. Its LAAG machine gun pointed up... And a few crates in a crescent around its rear.. a rocket launcher tube points out from behind it.. He turns and looks at the other side.. where an Almost identical setup is seen.. six or seven marines are standing around.. one with binoculars looking about and the others just patrolling and such..* "this is... terrible... These guys will never survive a direct engagement.. no one has.." *He looks down off the edge of the platform.. seeing a lake about 2 miles down.. * "It would be painless.... I'd probobly be gone before I hit the water.. but.. "*He turns to see the marines again* "I cannot leave them.. I am needed her-"*The sound of a Dropship coming in is heard.. The marines scramble onto the warthogs and the rockets are armed.. A eerie silence is present...Through the clouds a pelican makes its way slowly down and it lands.. The pilot runs out the back screaming... "WE'VE GOT WOUNDED!! GET MEDICS!!! HURRRYY!!!" *Spiers stands and watches.. as the pelican is unloaded.. The pilot walks up to him* "Sir, That is the last lifeboat.. all fifty six that were launched are accounted for... We found two.. one near a waterfall.. All the Marines there were dead.. And the area was surrounded by covenant.. We did find another three or four but Echo 419 took that job.. I hear theres a spartan with them too.." Spiers looks at him.. "Stay away from the autumn.. I flew by there a few hours ago.. whole place is lit up.. Plasma batteries everywhere.. And a Covenant cruiser parked right overhead... " The pilot nods then walks away
*Spiers surveys the area once again* "The covenant will pay for all they have done.... For killing my family.. I will kill them all.." *His fists clinch and his teeth grind... * "I'll be wearing that silver elites Armor before this ends.." *A faint smirk is seen before he walks back to the Barracks..*

Raevynn looked at him and shook her head. "You have alot of guts, ya know. Sit down and I'll take care of that leg. You cant fight the enemy in that condition."
Raevynn looks at the wound carefully. "Well, youre lucky. That shot just missed a major artory" She took out some water and a cloth and started to clean the wound. "This'll sting a little." she said before putting some bio foam in the injury to seal it. She then tied a bandage tightly around it so that it wouldnt bleed any more. "There. That should heal quickly, just dont use it that much for a while."

*A few hours pass.. A marine walks to you.. he hands you a piece of paper* "This is from Cap'n keyes.." *He turns and walks away... the paper reads* "Raevynn... if you're getting this its been three hours since I've departed in the command pelican to get to the autumn.. I had left some items in there I need to retrieve, I know its kindof quiet around there.. But I do have something for you and your marines to do, Get spiers and D-666 to head out to a covenant dropship crashsite... He should already have a paper right now showing the location.. but There is word of a Plasma Cannon battery on this Mountain complex.. if that thing isn't taken out soon, any operations in that area would be severely crippled.. especially the operation to find this "Silent Cartographer" That plasma battery would be the end for any pelicans trying to reach that island.. *A pelican moves slowly with its landing struts down into the indoor part of the Landing area.. Spiers is seen outside of the pelican after it stops looking it over, checking the rockets.. and fuel lines armor and so fourth.*
*Another marine walks up to you* "Sirs.. My marine platoon is ready for action.. We have eight men ready, six of them gunners.. one sniper and a rocket... You think we should load up any Armor? I mean... That spiers guy is freaking me out, I asked him and he.. growled at me almost.. I asked one of his.. "Friends" He said spiers never talked too much after he lost his family in one of the first times the covenant burned a colony." *The marine kneels down* "I think he has a grudge against what another pilot who survived a Seraph fighter pilot... Pelicans are no match for seraphs.. no wonder he couldn't stop it from destroying ships and so fourth..." *The marine stands* "You guys ready?? oh and by the way? what are we doing?" *He kindof smiles but looks more confused than anything..*
*A load roar is heard as the pelicans engines are tested.. it rolls slowly to the outer part of the Landing facility.. Marines begin to load crates into the pelican.* "Sirs.. what are our orders" *Says a marine as the others assemble in line awaiting instruction.*
*Spiers looks up at Raevynn.* "I'm ready... show me whatchu got..." *The pelican thrusters ignite pushing the pelican up into the air. Spiers looks down at his trigger..* "My challenge awaits me at this place.. " *The pelican lifts off And the engines jut backwards and it shoots out from the landing.. the pelican drops almost strieght down and barrelrolls into a level plane only 3 ft off the surface of the water.. A flight of three pelicans is seen heading toward a small island.. a sgt looks at you, "We dont have much time, they will arive at that island in about an hour, none will make it if that gun isn't destroyed..." *Ahead a mountain is seen..*
*The single pelican flies near the mountain very quickly.. The huge cannon on the peak aims down and fires.. Spiers jerks to the right as does the dropship.. It spins toward the ground quickly as the Beam of plasma misses by a couple of feet.. Two seraph fighters take off from the peak.. one of them is hit by a rocket fired out from the back of the Pelican..The other seraph.. Of a strange blue color begins to engage them.. The pelican being no match is hit by three plasma rounds... Spiers sees the seraph fly by.. knowing exactly who it is *The pelican crashes* "guys we need to move! now!!! That seraph means nothing! get into that base and kill that gun or the cov will get the cartographer first! come on!! GO!!" *They exit the back of the pelican grabbing all they can..The cockpit is sealed shut from the inside.. no noise is heard from spiers at all..*
Raevynn gets up and shakes her head off. She is uninjured. Any normal human would have probably been killed. Marines start pilling out of the pelican, leaving behind a few dead soldiers. She doesnt follow them. She is a Spartan, and has a different mission. She remembered the pilot. She ran towards the cockpit door and put her head against it. No sound at all. "Spiers!" She waits silently for any kind of reply
