They were still outnumbered, and Raevynn began to worry, but she wasnt ready to retreat. She reached for her side. "Grenade!" she pulled the pin, and lobbed a grenade into the center of a well formed group of grunts and jackals. The grenade detonated and sent parts of covenant everywhere

*Dennis kneeled, and pulled out a plasma grenade* Watch yourselves! *He threw it, watching as the covanent look down, then blow into bits*

They were now winning. Raevynn began to pick off the last remaing grunts that tried to run for cover

*Suddenly a loud plasma sound was heard overhead. Dennis shouted* COVANANT TANK!!!!! TAKE COVER!!!! *All the marines jumped for cover as the plasma beam came raining down. It hit the ground with large force, shaking Halo's Earth*

Raevynn closed her eyes at the blinding flash. She was so close to where the plasma hit that nearly knocked her over. "If anyone has a rocket launcher nows the time to use it!" She jumped from behind a tree, firing helplessly at the tank with an assualt rifle. The tank tracked her movement as she lured it away from the other marines.

*Dennis grabbed a rocket launcher, and fired, causing the tank to turn in his direction. He fired again, destroying it* Yes!!

The tank was gone, and now only a few covenant were left. They ran for cover as they were cut down by the marines, and her sniper rifle

The sun was starting to "set" and the light was slowly disapearing. "we should rest up for the night. Your marines have had a tough day."

"We should try and find an area with high elevation, and some cover from trees or rocks or something."

*Dennis signaled to the marines to move out, and off they went in search of a cliff*

Raevynn looked away from the marines, and yawned. She was tired even though she didnt show it

*Dennis looked through the side mirror, and saw the warthogs close behind, along with the Pelican. He saw a large cliff up ahead* There..*He radioed the others to head there, and off the Pelican went to land*

She let out a sigh of releif as they spotted the campsite. She really could use some rest, and time to patch up some wounds

*Dennis stopped the Warthog once they got up, and turned it off. He got out and walked over to the pilot* Good spot eh? Covenant'l probably come back..*The pilot nodded, and replied* But we'l be ready..better patch up some of the marines..*The pilot walked off and Dennis walked over to Raevynn* You ok? you look tired..Should get some rest..I'l keep watch tonight..

"Im not tired." She smiled trying not to show her emotions. "You've been through enough already, it looks like you need rest as much as i do."

Raevynn followed him. "I never rest. Its not my job. You need it more than I do. You need to lead your marines. Go on, I can tell youre suffering from fatigue."
