They aren't done on Coruscant!

ah...right...I'll go get the other one then..

Well, he can't tell you any more than your other captives.

Yea I know, But still.... He was doubtful, and I did say I would help him out if I killed Strine, Jedi Word of honor you know....

Actually, no, he said that Strine would kill him if he talked to you. Now he wants a lawyer.

Jelena climbs from the wreckage of their downed ship, getting to her feet, trying to Sense her surroundings, and possibly their attacker.

(So, 12-8=4 damage for me?)

That's right. You think you 'landed' somewhat away from the 'action zone' there.

"We should find Master Gundark," Gallagher says, also rising from the wreck, helping Master Clarion to her feet and any surviving security men.

"Thanks Gallagher" replies Clarion, "OK lets get to that other shuttle, and be wary."

Ornery little bastard aint he....

Fine leave him there, but were bringing him to coresaunt.. along with everyone else on the ship....

as soon as everyone's done we can go...

"Densk, I want you to go free all the slaves on this ship. And have them help you round up the rest of the ship. If you find any ranking officers or people that might know something bring them here."

im sorta confused though so theres plenty more pirates on the ship? Do they know were here? Will i be sneaking around hiding from security or what?

Densk speaks up "What about Xeth? We cant exactly leave him laying here since he doesn't have mobility?"

~ALl the pirates had fleed~

Can Xeth perform another Medicine roll to be able to walk about somewhat?

Also, we need to find that guy abducted from Anzat.

Oh yea, But I'll bet money that Arazi Took him..

OK Can we do a wrap up thing Ush, or do we really have to go walking around making pirates surrender and releasing slaves...

Densk, Ush Said that since we killed strine and made all the other Pirates take off, the ones on the ship have surrenedered and were basicly safe...

The main plotline on Anzat is indeed finished, if left with some loose ends, which suits me just fine. You don't need to worry about the details of how things are cleared up.

So at this point, anyone who has not re-made their characters yet can look at the new creation rules and do that. You also might want to take some reflection time to talk to each other; a new player may be joining up with the Renegade crew soon, and it is time for Roan to report back to the Council, presumably from Xeth's ship when you return to it. The Anzat authorities will want their ship back of course.

Ok, Coruscant folks, with or without Gundark we shall be moving on to this action scene in a mo... which will take the form of a fight. So, is everyone there ready to learn how to do that?

(grumbles)

(Im ready I hope 😖 Gundy! Why the grumble?)

She's not looking forwards to this, I suspect...

Ok, first things first. All the details are in the Main Rules; a rather less cumbersome summary of what to remember is in the Galactic Survival Guide.

The combat updates keep track of where you are and where your enemies are. You have two types of enemies- mooks and named villains. Mooks are like battle droids- very easy to kill, and rules-wise work on a very simple system, but often come in large numbers. Some mooks might be supermooks, which are more dangerous and a bit harder to kill, but are likewise faceless. Named villains are rare but different- they work exactly the same as you, with stats and skills etc (though, of course, they rarely have Force powers). They do not get thrown at you casually. If a battle droid is a mook, then a Droideka is a supermook, and Jango Fett is a named villain.

When fighting mooks, your main worry is being efficient- kill as many of them as fast as possible. They are very unlikely to hurt you, but there are so many that one of them will get lucky. When fighting named villains, your priorities switch- each time they take a pot shot at you, you are at great risk of being hurt. They seem very intimidating, but remember they are all terrified of you. All Jedi are incredibly dangerous.

The fight is divided into 'sequences', an arbitrary unit of time lasting roughly thirty seconds. You each have a Force pool which you expend to use your powers- your Pool refreshes each sequence.

Inside each sequence, things are managed by 'frames' (a term referring roughly to movie frames). Each person has a frame number. The person with the highest frames moves first- but each action costs frames. A standard sabre attack, for example, costs three frames. When a person acts, he loses frames and I check to see whose turn it is to move now. Normally, to speed things up, people on-line leave me their moves in advance and I make them happen when it comes to their 'turn'. An important thing to note- if you have the same number of frames as a bad guy, players always go first if they want. This is called 'player privilege'.

If you get hit, you take damage. Damage is not necessarily literal- it often refers to you running out of luck, or becoming winded. You can take 24 points of damage with no worries. At 25, you become 'impaired' due to a literal wound, and become less capable. At 30, you become double-impaired. At 35 or beyond, you are in trouble and liable to drop; the more beyond 35 you are, the more likely the dropping.

All the time, for each important character, I keep track of three things for everyone to see. These things are noted as follows:

Current Force Pool/Current Wounds/Current Frame

So, Clarion, you have a Force rating of 14, which gives your pool. You have no damage. If you were on Frame 10, I would note you like this:

Clarion: 14/0/10

Bad guys get noted the same way, though they normally note their combat pool instead of Foirce pool (as they have no Force; Combat pool is for lesser close combat moves), and mooks have no pool at all- they just get:

Current Damage/Current Frame

Ok, everyone ok so far?

(Ok read it, will prolly need a little help at first tho)

Okidokey! We'll just see what the others think.
