USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (LIGHT SIDE)- Conspiracy

Started by Jedi Priestess154 pages

Clarion keeps running in the direction she last saw Jelena, she senses incoming sniper fire and alters her course a fraction (standard dodge), hoping that with his telekinetic pal gone this guy will miss once again.

Darn it, must find Gundy...

He does miss, but this leaves you, like Jelena, holed up in that alleyway where he seems to have a gfood field of fire. What is your plan to get up to where he is?

I've got an Idea,
If both you(clarion) and Jelena charge, him, He'll have to focus his attacks on one of you, that way one of you could get clase and take him out.

Any shot of finding a doorway blasting through it and heading up to where he is?

You might be able to make it, building to building, Clarion. You don't know this part of Coruscant well, so you will have to rely on your instncts to find a way, an to be sure he will keep taking pot shots at you. Still, you feel better that way than charging him down (especially as game wise you are in no condition to take another hit).

*My thoughts exactly, Roan are you TRYING to get me killed? 😂 *

Clarion starts towards the first doorway on the side that the sniper fire is coming from....

You will have to clear the alleyway, so he will get another shot first. Do you want to try and dodge that one? You may end up being pinned again.

Meanwhile, whilst we wait, experience has been calculated.

Basic participation xp for this game is out of 6. People who didn't score the whole 6 are: Vlad, with a 5 (late start), Jelena and Gundark with a 3 (sporadic but did actually take part at important points), Clarion with a 2 (no gaps but came in only at the end), and Rusky and Densk with a 4 (missed bits). Christof and Gallagher score zero as their particpation has not been relevant.

Roan, Xeth and Marcus get the full 6.

Victory points are out of two- one point for winning, and one point for Conspiracy busting. Anzat and Neimodia crowd score one; no attempt was made to take Arazi and hammer down the case at Anzat- but this is just as well as seeing how the fight went someone may well have died if you had tried. Balek got clean away at Neimodia. However, you got the evidence needed on Neimodia and shut down the Corsairs at Anzat so you did win.

Of course, we don't know about Coruscant yet, but that will likely be a one. The Viceroy actually can't die- first because he... well... DIDN'T... and also for other reasons. But in as much as the job was pursued well and certain leads were exposed, this will be a victory too unless something goes seriously wrong with Clarion. However, you are left with no clue as to the Seronno link and the Viceroy playing silly buggers with you, nor what Ascar was trying to tell you about Nebb. In short, the Conspiracy there is untouched, as it was at the other places.

The game was not Opposed to the Dark Side, nor was there some relevant threat that I could make this an opposed game to. Technically the Techno Union is a threat but that's not a contest you can win in the context of this game. Future episodes might have more decisive enemies for you to score victory or defeat against. So no points there.

No conspicuous heroism has been noted, though you certainly did your best for each other.

Rusky and Densk score one point of danger money for being caught down below when Christof vanished, and Roan and Xeth score two for being left totally in the lurch up top by the bridge when play almost ceased down below.

Which leaves the final allocations at:

Clarion: 3, which you may as well hang on to.
Gundy: 4
Jelena: 4
Vlad: 6
Rusky: 6
Densk: 6
Marcus: 7
Roan: 9
Xeth: 9

Feel free to spend that; luckily the Coruscant crowd will most likely bank theirs because otherwise they would have to wait until they were done to spend it.

Blast, this is getting tedious, standard dodge again......

He rolls evens on his shot, a miss, and you just manage to not be pinned, as you dive through a doorway, Butch Cassidy style, into an abandoned building, in which it is very dark.

This building is adjacent to his one. What do you plan to do to get up and over to him?

"Damn that was close!" Clarion swears, heading for the stairs......

Sorry Clarion, I forget that your not os combat-oriented as me,
I woulda used speed and ward (New power yay!) and charged him down...

The stairs are internal, which is fortunate. But in fact, you are registering very little danger at all as you climb at...

... he's on the move, Clarion. He's abandoned his position.

(of course he is, otherwise this would be easy for me to figure out 😖)

Calrion makes note of the change in danger sense, "Damn this guy is proving to be a trial!" she mutters under her breath. Taking a moment she reaches out with the force to see if she can sense his whereabouts.

Evens- which on a Force roll, is always good for a Master.

He's headed towards the direction you sensed Gundy was in.

"He must be going after the Viceroy" she surmises. Picking up the pace, Clarion starts to run in Gundy's direction, lets hope Jelena gets there too.

(I'll keep my xp, too few to buy a new lvl in Sabremaster and now I only need 10 more xp for a sabre skill upgrade)

6 huh... So can I add 2 to piloting and save the rest? How much do saber tricks cost?

Ok, I shall just see if Jelena or Gundy post by tomorrow evening, Clarion, and if not, you're doing this solo.

Sounds ok, Vlad. And Sabre Tricks are current amount +6.

Nah you know what, ill use my all 6 points to add this saber trick
