(ouch that hurt! perhaps I should use elan and try that again and this time use a master jump?)

Can't use Elan to avoid being hit, I am afraid,. You use it to undo big mistakes YOU make- say if Jelena had botched that Jump roll and was at risk of falling to her death, Elan would mean she merely didn't make a clean landing.

Ok, so, you can either run inside the building and make your way up, Clarion, or try and Master Jump from here. What do you want it to be?

You shoulda used evade if you wanna reduce damage...

Aughhh man... I want to jump from warehouses to warehouses, and slay Zaphirean Gunners 🙁

well fine tack that on for defense..

(No, Clarion, you need to say how much you want to reduce that previous damage by with Evade ✅ You could leave enough for a Master Jump to remove a majority of the damage.)

Jelena charges down the eastern sniper, using Combat Push to disarm the creature.

( Just say that you use enough Force for the Evade, so a Master Jump could still be left.)

OK JP,
Evade is a power used AFTER you get hit to reduce damage,
its force cost is represented as x+1
x is the amout of damage you want to reduce,
So:
If you want reduce 6 points of damage, you end up paying 7 force points.
there is no set amount of damage you have to reduce.

Ok, Clarion, that mitigates your damage, making you less impaired- your force senses let you twist half out of the way just in time!

You didn't post a defence, Jelena, so the sniper will take the shot... he rolls +2 for a 15, a hit! That is nine damage to you.

Then you start to charge him down, which with the Push as well takes four frames. He actively dodges (in the form of holding on tightly)- your push rolls -6 anyway, so fails to have an effect.

An athletics roll from Clarion as she makes her Jump... +1 is good- she is up there!

Jeb cannot jump that high but he is going to climb the wall instead.

Gundark: 14/0/16 (out of vehicle)

Jeb: 7/11/6 (outside warehouse)

Clarion: 5/26/3 (warehouse, south side)
Jelena: 13/20/3 (Warehouse, east side)

Zeraphrain Sniper A: 0/5 (Warehouse, south side)
Zeraphrain Sniper B: 0/4 (Warehouse, east side)

Both snipers fire, one at Clarion, and one at Jelena, knowing that they have to nail their targets this time!

Ok, Clarion, your attacker rolls a -1... miss! No point using a Strike, as two frames would leave you Framed Out regardless, so no difference from a normal attack. He dodges...

You roll -3, for a 17 (after impairment). A hit! 15 damage to him! He is barely scrambling out of your way. He fires back, for his last attack of the sequence- as you are Framed Out, dodging now involves borrowing a fame from the next sequence,

Clarion will active dodge again.
