Well, I assume right now we're all still on the planet.. so we should just board a freighter crossing the sector and wait.

Maybe we should have xeth's ship piggy-back or be inside the freighter so we can make a hasty retreat if nessasary

As for who is Balek, I myself never met him Master Gundark and Xeth ran into him a couple of years back, he is probably one of the best and smartest bounty-hunters there is. well It depends.
What kind of freighter, what stuff is it carrying? but if we find one that suits our tastes, yes.

as Vlad overhears what Marcus told Jelena he thought. Most smartest bounty hunter there is... Heh this mission might after all make a challenge.. "Well lets go..." said Vlad.

Roan, how do you plan to actually do that? You can't just commandeer one.

Anything carrying valuable stuff... I "assume" we can flash some jedi badges or something at them and take the ship..

Then you assume entirely wrongly! You have no such authority to commandeer a vessel and force it into a dangerous situation, even if your legal status wasn't hazy, which as a Renegade who is only here in a 'helping Xeth' capacity it most certainly is.

How would you feel if the police came and forcibly seized your car whilst you were driving it, said it was going to be used in a bait and ambush situation, and that dangerous maniacs were going to attack it, so keep your head down and we'll try and make sure they don't kill you? I think you would probably find there were certain legal objections to that.

So you may need to re-think the theory of this one.

Maybe we could offer protection to a vessel carrying valuable merchandise...Maybe battle droids or something of the like for example?

Offering protection is more likely to be appreciated, but when it is clear that you WANT the pirates to attack, that would be different.

You don't get independant operators carrying battle droids, btw. Or if you did, Xeth would want to know where they got them from.
