It's not the means, it is the concept. It's morally wrong to forcibly take someone's ship and force it and them into a dangerous situation. If you were a Dark Sider you could do this easily but this is where some of the limits of Light Side play come into effect.

If you can persuade someone to do it, fine, but you should not force anyone, by any means.

There are also other options but it is not my job to give those out, unless you use Insight.

Using insight costs me force for the rest of the episode right ?

But ush, can't we pay them to lend us the ship and merchandise, and fly the thing ourselves ? I mean we drop them on a planet and then operate the freighter alone.. that way we're not endangering anyone..

Except their ship and livelihood, you mean? Captains don't like giving up their ships- think of Solo and the Falcon. Though that is certainly a preferable option to commandeering!

You guys don't have much. Roan has 20000 credits, which will get you a small ship but not a tempting one. That would also be a questionable use of resources- that money is meant to be for emergencies.
