(Shoot her! 😛 Shut it, BC, before I go over to your house and unplug your computer...)

(Once again, Ush, I'd like to know. Anything useful to keep Mr. Pig-Fat off of us)

(Are there still crowds of people around?)

Ok, here is the thing. He is armed with a neurowhip. Right now, that just looks like a squat handle clipped into his belt.

The neurowhip is a very nasty weapon. Also a very hi-tech weapon. In fact, to give you an idea of what level they are, neurowhips are built individually by their owner- just like lightsabres. That much care goes into them.

But. The big problem is this. The Neurowhip is the weapon of the Osokan Hunting Guild. Get this- what the Hunting Guilds do- for fun (and the challenge of it).... they actually go out and HUNT the dinosaurs that live on their world (as well as filling in roles in local law enforcement). These people actually go to take them on on PURPOSE. Needlless to say, they are very special people...

But. They were also very bad news for the Galaxy. The Osokans have a superiority ethic as it is, the Hunting Guilds doubly so, and some two centuries ago they became rather overly interested in bullying neightbours- and very peeved about wildlife protection laws being introduced by the Senate!

To say the situation got bad is an understatement. Best explained by what the solution had to be- they sent two hundred Jedi to 'pacify' the situation. It took them a long time to finish the job.

From that point on to now, the Hunting Guilds were abolished, and the neurowhip banned throughout the entire Galaxy. Anyone carrying one is subject to arrest- and an Osokan carrying one is asking to be executed! Mind you, you pity the person sent to do that job.

And this guy is carrying one. Must have learned it in secret. But... that's odd. The patches on his clothing, Patches of the Hunting Guild. He's a member. He's just blantatly wearing it- rather the same as you guys carrying big placards reading "I am a Sith" with you wherever you go.

And no, relatively quiet around here. Mind you, he's gone again.

"He's elusive, isn't he? But at the same time, extremely obvious..." Nume mutters. Nume says the next thing a little louder, moving behind the silo that the Osokan was hiding behind.

"Zatev, or whoever you are, we know you are searching for us. Come out, if you want to fight."

"I do not think it wise to attract his attention," Galder says, looking around. "Neurowhips are dangerous, and in the hands of an Osokan, apparently, they are even more dangerous. I've not had the experience of fighting against a wielder of one, it could be tricky..."

Hmm... nothing.

"Hold your tongue, Galder, and try to find which silo Kuylen would be in..."

There are over three hundred of these damn things, Galder. It could take you days to pin ti down without help.

"This is going to take forever..." Galder mutters, trying to look inside a silo to see what they keep in there. He wanders in the general direction of the signal, checking to see if he gets colder or warmer.

Harvested wheat, Galder. And you cannot get a firm lock.

"I'm at a loss, Nume. I cannot get a firm lock on any of these, and there are too many." Galder looks around, walking in circles around the area, pacing.

"We'd have to continue searching for days, unless one of us has better luck with this thing. Rura, Vash, help me work out the signal..."

"Well hurry up, Galder, I am eager to meet Kuylen..."

Nume uses Sense to see if he can get a feel for Kuylen's mind. "We should try finding Kuylen with the Force, for we are all connected by it..."

(Too bad no one has Guidance!)

I am minded to wait and sync up with the Takuan/Tanic lot for now- been a lot of play tonight!

(Agreed, and I'd like to know if there's anything else about the Osokans that Nume would find interesting or vital...)

"We should rest here, collect our wits, while you track the signal..." Nume says.

"Sure thing, boss..." Galder says, not looking up from the locater.

"That Osokan makes me feel a little twitchy!" Rah says as absently twiddels with his sabre handle. "Very twitchy in fact! I think the sooner we know its purpose or its dead the better!" He thinks for a moment "However so far it's only watching us. Now that means that its learning its prey in preperation for the kill or someone has hired it to watch us."
Looking over at Nume "It may be a good idea to keep us all together just incase this Osokan is after us, its less likely to attack all of us together. However when apart we will probably be fair game...."

"Let me try," Vash says, holding his hand out to Galder for the locator.

Galder passes the locator to Vash, then looks to Rah.

"Well, we know it's dangerous, no doubt about that. Good thing Nume recognized the species, or we'd be even more curious about it..."

"Rah has the right idea. We should not be divided with this thing around..."

Nume called out. "Osokan, come out! We mean you no harm!"

Vash fiddles with the controls on the locator, trying to pinpoint that damned elusive signal.
