USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

Started by Trickster125 pages

The thing is that people cannot lift the parts we want, I think! They're too heavy...

The droids are little more than cranes; no AI circuits at all. Whoever is using the computer directs their programming. If you can get into the warehouse the droids won't care at all, so if you can then get out of there without being seen, all that will seem to happen is that a droid will bring no parts to the counter, which might confuse the staff but not actually bring suspicion on you.

This place deals with no heavy parts at all. The transponder units are about the size of your hand; easily carryable if you got to them.

Get going! New Year approaches!

I like the sound of that. Rianna can sneak in and grab the parts while Takuan and/or Nume ask for the parts with the help of Mind Tricks, then when the parts don't arrive with the droids, Nume and/or Takuan can just say "Oh well, I'll come back later, I need to get going."

But should still wear disguises....

Okay, how's this. Two groups, one that'll set off some sort of emergency elsewhere to clear out all the non-essential people, and the other group to Persuade the clerk/whatever/whoever into getting us the parts we need.

I'll detail it out later when I'm NOT hijacking my friend's comp, but there's a very basic plan idea.

Anything in there about you sneaking in to grab parts?

...well, if we have everyone who doesn't need to be there gone, and are persuading the person who actually tells the droids what to get getting the stuff we need due to persuasion, do we really need sneakiness?

Actual answer, though, is for either Rah or Rianna to be in the 'persuasion' group to do some sneakiness, if needed.

Galder nudges Rand. "Why does she always come up with the good plans?"

"Because you don't," Rand says calmly.

"I say we go with Rianna's plan, it sounds the most logical."

(Should we bother safeguarding the defenseless Tanic?)

"Because apparently, I'm the smart one here." Rianna replies, having caught Galder's comment. "Now, how should we split up for this? And what kind of diversion do you think would work best? We need clear out the area but not attract any attention to us."

i could approach the staff operating the terminal and 'convince' him that's it would be nice to sound an alarm of...evacuating the premises.
then ask him for all the information we need. i don't think the other staff would jup me while approaching him....i'm not a dragon afterall..and this isn't a military facility

They would probably turn off the alarm, though, not to mention that you would need a damn good line to convince him to do that.

This is starting to over-complicate now; can we stop discussing and get it done, please?

(Yes, please! Ush already said we could just integrate our plans to get it done...)

Ok, step one- Takuan goes forward and needs a Persuadey-line to get the guy to get the droids to retrive the parts.

"You WILL get me those parts now" is not a fantastic way to do that. Remember it is suggestion not hypnosis.

Rand leans over and whispers quietly in Takuan's ear. "Tell him that we are here to pick up our parts, and that we've already paid for them..."

Rah, will go on the droid to lift the parts.

Takuan clears his throat. 😛
"you were expecting us to pick up the parts. you want to bring them to us right away." he says leaning to the man...and giving him the parts details

"I don't seem to have any credit details on our system," says the man. "Are you sure you have paid for these?"

(Uhoh... I see the makings of a disaster... 😛 j/k)

(Would it be feasible to say we paid for it on the HoloNet? 😛 )

"Tell him we have..."
