Vash uses Saber Throw on one of the guards.

Flashy! Remember that leaves you sabreless for three frames- pretty safe right now though.

You roll -1. As Sabre throw gives you -2 to hit, that is a total of 10. This leaves you only 4 points clear of the nu,ber needed to hit, which would not normally be a kill... but the lightsabre has a Killing Power of +2 against mooks, meaning you only need to be clear by three for the kill

Vash's sabre flashes out, darting through the air and impaling a hapless security guy...

Tanic uses Staredown on one of the aft security guards.

I'm just experimenting with my powers...

Consider it done! That guard will attack you in his action, and miss automatically.

Leaves you on frame 8, Tanic, so you may act again.

Okay, just realised I have next to no combat force powers...

Tanic will run at the aft guards, slicing one down.

Nume, lightsaber ignited, marches forwards confidently and uses Throw to toss one hick into another.

"I'm going to have fun with this..." Galder says, activating his red and blue blades with a snap-hiss.

Galder swings his red blade at and through a security guard with Strike.

When Vash's blade returns to his hand, he cuts down a guard using Strike.

Ahem... I will let it go this time, but Galder failed to actually try and move in first. I clearly said these people were a three-frame movement action away. Likewise with Vash. I won't always accept illegal moves!

Nume moving in AND using throw is a 'continuous action', and takes 4 frames in all, just so you know!

And that is a double attack and so is at -2. You roll a +4, for a final total of 15. It's good! Two of the guys are easily flung aside, and out the fight.

Galder runs in, and attacks on frame 8

(Note- don't forget to use Speed to close distances more quickly! That's what it is there for...)

Now, fort you, Galder, attacking with Strike takes but one frame, due to Carnival of Carnage! A -1 on your roll isn't your best shot, but frankly it is almost impossible for you to fail to kill these guys! He's dead easily!

Ok, everyone has moved ahead of the guards saved Rianna, and she is busy and so can catch up later.

We have 24 guards remaining, and seven targets. That is three atacks on each of you, plus a fourth attack on Nume, Galder and Tanic. Tanic's fourth assailant misses automatically, though- he is rather unnerved.

Two of Takuan's assailants have also been Awed, and will take four frames to attack him for the rest of the combat.

I am going to make the attacks now. Incidentally, if any of you want to use defences when guys attack you, as those from the Matrix game may be familiar, it is better to declare want defence you want to use in advance! You will be unlucky to be hit here but it is possible.

An incredible burst of fire comes your way...

Unlucky people of the day are Vash and Rianna, against whom I have rolled +10 and +6, with another 2 onto each of those for the burst fire. Final results of 18 and 14- both hits. Base damage is 11, and you are both low strength characters... five damage to Rianna, and nine to Vash; if you have any force powers that might mitigate that, feel free to use them. Otherwise, darn it! That shot actually burnt your left arm, Vash!

Ok, then some folks strike again. Vash makes a strike, easily cutting down a foe. And Tanic makes his attack also, and a rather boring +1 quickly disembowells a foe.

Finally, Takuan gets his push in! Unfortunately, your luck runs out there as he rolls -7. You were going to get him, Takuan, but that guy just almost fell over backwards to avoid Galder and you missed...

Guards shoot again on 5. Before that, we have Rianna on 8, Rah on 7, Galder (who is about to go mental; you just watch him) on 7 also.

ok..i'll use reflection as a defense.
and i'll use throw as an attack.
TAkuan tries to find some crates or rocks, anything he can throw at the group of 5 security men (unawed).

Do you mean reflection against the next load of attacks, or the ones I just made? The first is technically illegal but I'll let it happen.

Well, you might want to use it AGAIN when they fire on frame 5.

I want to use Ricochet when they fire again. Until then... Vash uses Speed to close any distance there might be between himself and the guards, while using Sword Whirl (can I do that?). If he is already right next to a guard, he simply uses Strike.

You mean Reflection, which Richochet will help you with- so noted!

You are already next to the fore guards right now, Vash. You may use sword whirl if you wish- makes your attack more dangerous.

Alright, I'll use Sword Whirl before attacking a guard with Strike.

well..for the next load, then...oh, yes....with ricochet help also.
