USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

Started by Captain REX125 pages

(Very small glimmer...)

Galder strikes at the uninjured Osokan, Riposte for defense against the Captain.

Guess what? He dodges. You roll evens, but that is a hit. 18 damage! Ok, moving on time...

Good news is, only one attack each on Galder and Vash.
Bad news is... SEVEN attacks on Rianna and Rah, and six on Takuan. This could hurt.

In order:

Galder, the Captain rolls evens... a miss! He's not had much luck on you. So, you get your riposte, which he will Parry. You roll +2 for a 15... sadly, he JUST escapes that!

Takuan... well, you get what you asked for, which appears to be three Force dodges and three normal ones. Well, they DID all miss you... but you aren't acting again for... err... rather a while!

Rah... hmm, what to do... well, I think he would want at least to dodge the Captain. Which he does... but he takes a hit, I am afraid. Another seven damage, and he is at the critical point.

Vash, your opponent misses you. Neat.

Ok, Rianna, here goes... well well well. Highest roll against you was +2, and so you actually got clean away with it. Hmmm! Captain missed you by miles. So, your riposte goes off... your target dodges. Ypu roll +2 for a 16, that is a hit, and 21 damage, which sadly I cannot apply to the one Takuan hit as you are slightly apart.

Now acting- Galder, Vash, and Rianna. Vash can act twice. Galder, you can break off your fight if you want, to either escape or move to the centre.

Rianna slices at the Osokan she just damaged, hoping to finish him off.

2 Active Dodges for defense.

Evens- consider him dead.

I want to attack the one remaining south Osokan hunter using Strike. How many frames from south to center? For defense, two active dodges.

(Time to help the near-dead others...)

Galder stares down the Captain for a second, then breaks away from Vash and the two Osokans, sprinting with Speed towards the others.

Three frames from south to centre. And at a time like this, you really have to remember about your Multiple Attack tricks, Vash! There is no reason for you not to attack more than one opponent if you can.

However, rolling a +7 on your attack there is timely! Your Strike cuts down that Osokan. I have also mentioned for a while that you are able to act twice; I think the others would have wanted you to take those actions.

I cannot really move things on as you guys need all the actions you can get. Galder and Vash are still able to act.

Actually, forget that. I'll do the Osokan attack and convert Galder and Vash's frames into bonuses on the next sequence.

Ok, in the centre now we have 19 opponents and four targets. That is five attacks on each, save Takuan who gets 4. Captains attack Galder, Rah and Rianna. I will say Galder dodges the Captain. Vash just gets the Captain attacking him. In order then:

Luckily, Galder is still hard to hit, and stays safe.

Gahhh, SO nearly took Takuan out there...

Rah is hit- but luckily, his force pool is untouched, so he can use Evade to reduce that to zero.

And Rianna dodges the Captain and stays safe also.

New sequence time. Speed roll is a 3. Galder gets +2 initative and Vash getrs +3, carried over from the sequence before.

Ok, everyone except Takuan acts ahead of the Osokans, some of you more than once; defences will again be needed.

(Vash, since you have Multipe Attacks Level 3, attack the Captain South three times! You can't use CoC on him anyway...)

Riposte against the Captain (Which one, might I ask?), two active dodges.

Galder slashes down on one of the Osokans attacking Takuan with a loud war cry.

"I've come to save your ass, Takuan..." Galder says as he hacks through.

Again Rah attacks a hunter with both blades swinging he makes a deliberately obvious feint with his right blade starts to attack with the left and then carries on to attack with the right - double bluff kind of thing!

defense dodges the hunters and Evades the captain if necessary

Whoa whoa whoa! MA isn't THAT good, Galder. Attacking the same opponent more than once is different to attacking more than one opponent. Multiple Attacks allows two attacks on one opponent at level threem, and three attacks on one opponent at level 5- but these attacks are at -1 to hit and if you dodge one you dodge all. Another -1 to hit is not what Vash needs! If he was unimpaired it might work better, as would using it on a supermook.

Galder, I will say it is the Captain that took Rand, which is the one on 12 damage. Meanwhile, your target dodges, and you roll evens for a direct hit, and 18 damage. Puts you on frame 12- you may act again.

Rah, your target also dodges. No luck this time I am afraid- a -3 is a miss, as the whip lash catches your sabre tip.

Galder follows up by another slash to his now injured opponent.

+2; a kill leaves you on frame 10 and you can still act.

Galder spins and attacks another Osokan, confident after the quick kills.

Another dodge, but +4 means another hit!

I want to attack the Captain as many times as I can and still be reasonable, then use Speed to get to the center.

You have frames enough for two attacks, but he'll just follow you and obstruct your escape route- the point was that someone has to stay and fight him. Still, I'll do those attacks, of which he will Parry both.

You roll +3 and +4, which are damn good tries, but you are just too impaired, and the Captain fends you off.

In fact, you can make a third attack if you want, Vash, as that Captain is oosing frames from defending.

Galder, can you confirm your defences? You do not want to try and dodge the Captain you are near?

And I don't seem to have defences from Takuan.

BTW, one more kill from Galder or Takuan and there is a potential escape path.

defence........
dodges force 3 as necessary.
though...i probably won't get to act for a whiiile....

"much obliged" says Takuan to Galder, concentrating on dodging the attacks.

Yes, Force Dodge against the Captain.

How many attacks on Galder?

Either 4 or 5.
