USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

No, where the fight started. Your location is where I have put you.

You could head West or East, or make the Jump.

I'd think heading West would be safer than attempting the Jump. They'd still be three frames behind you. Also, you had a bad feeling about East. ✅

well thank you rexxie...

Takuan turns west and then north at the next crossroad...ok? 🙂

Yay! Let's just hope there isn't ANOTHER blockade...

That's where Balek is.

(joke)

Anyway, the Osokans are splitting to catch various targets, some of them losing a frame as they change direction. Oh, due to the three frame prep, which I forgot to factor in to Galder and Rah's jump time, I have given them both back three frames each.

Rianna, meanwhile, rolls evens for a total of 10. Again weighed down by another, her jump is rather slow and late in the day.

(This scene looks good in the film, btw, as it is shot from an overhead angle allowing the audience to take stock of the whole situation in the male of silos and crossroads, seeing the Osokans move to head you guys off...)

Ok, so let's take stock. Takuan, you have dashed westwards, but there are more Osokans heading in on your flank.

Vash is in less trouble than he looks due to time synching- he is way ahead of those Osokans and won't actually be there at the point they reach there- so I assume, anyhow.

Up north we now have some trouble as the Osokans charge down the jumpers. However, Galder is acting ahead of them.

(I just wrote up the fight scene between Galder and Balek during Episode II for my story...I loathe him...)

(A use of Speed allowed, or should I just keep running as normal?)

Galder keeps running.

Heh... you may indeed use Speed, Galder, and that will get you away from there. Not that I will stop you, but that will give 19 Osokans, including three Captains, attacks on Rah and Rianna.

Damned guilty feeling kicking in...

Can Galder turn and attack one of the Osokans with a Strike, non-Captain of course? Maybe just reduce the attacks a bit...

Force Dodge and Riposte as Defense.

No need for you to use Strike on a non-Captain, remember?

Force dodge might be inadequate against the number of attacks you would face. Then again, no-one took Willow Step (Guard), did they?

Then I'll just attack with a normal swing of the blade, Force Dodge against any Captains that attack, and Riposte against any of the other attackers.

Blimey, that'll burn through your Force pretty quick!

Well, you roll +6 on your attack for a total of 19. That is 24 damage, but as you did not specify a wounded target, not a kill, I am afraid.

That puts you on the same frame as them.

Damned, I'll Speed away. Dark Jedi survival instincts are stronger than guilt.

Takuan keeps going westwards then

I'm going to move Vash up to Rianna and the others, I think, with a nine frame move.

Vash, Rianna and Rah therefore are attacked by 12 enemies, two of whom are Captains. Four each, Captains go on Rah and Rianna.

We have a hit on Rianna, for seven damage. Whilst just conscious from neuro-damage, Rianna is now past 35 standard damage and must make a death check. She rolls -1 on that, but with a difficulty of two only, and a Strength of six, that is a pass.

Rah is highly fortunate, and is missed.

But Vash is hit, and must also make a death check. He rolls +2 for a pass.

Sequence is done. New speed roll is a one.

Takuan, you have made nearly a full circle. Which puts you in place to see a highly unpleasant sight.

To the south, where the fight started, the Osokans you guys cut down...

... are getting up!

Your move folks...

oh christ...so we can't kill 'em?!

north, pronto....

Only two of them are actually dead- one by Galder and one by Rianna.

I want to keep heading north

What.

Oh well, at least I managed to actually kill one of them. But damn, I'm pretty close to being out myself....

I'd like to keep heading north...

Ush, do you advise against Galder flying his fight OVER the silos, if he gets there?

Since it's a new sequence, Galder will use Speed to keep ahead of the Osokans.

Flying his FIGHTER I meant...hehe...
