USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

It depends how long you want to hang around here, Galder.

Well, at this point, I think everyone is clear to escape the silos so we can end combat time. However, now you must make the dash to your ships. Soon after you escape the town, you plunge into the high Demaran wheat, which is as awkward and obstructive as any jungle.

You are split into three at this point, Galder on his own, Takuan on his own, and Rianna, Rah and Vash together, Rah and Rianna carrying Rand and Tanic. Galder is the furthest towards safety, Takuan the least. You are almost certainly being pursued, so what is the plan?

well...i'm having difficulties viewing my place in the silos, and...distance to an exit.

You're out the silos, no worries.

well..then i try to look around me, for the others, and head towards them. i was travelling in galder's ship, if i recall..

All you can see are wheat stalks towering around you.

i use sense

For anything in particular? It allows you to move around without tripping over but it won't give you a map of the area.

for my coleagues

Hmm, you cannot sense them in the immediate area.

Thre are others headed your way from the south, though.

Well if we cant see nought but crops neither can the osokans!
Staying close to Rianna and Vash Rah continues heading northwards towards the ships

(Ush, how long before some sort of recovery from Rand and Tanic?
Also wouldnt Takuan be able to sense our presence in the distance, its not like we're trying to hide it...)

Do you have a way to determine northwards, Rah? It's very hard to orientate yourself around here.

Takuan's not next to you, is the problem, and you guys are never that easy to sense.

As for recovery... I am afraid they are not. The damage is not temporary.

for now, takuan distances himself from the followers he senses. (nrthwards)

(Well, the idea was to save people from the Silos...but...well, not in there...)

Galder put away his red lightsaber and whipped out a small device, his ship caller. Rather than revealing his ship's location by ordering it to take off, he simply uses the tracking beacon he's installed into his own ship to keep track of it.

Do you have a way to determine northwards, Rah? It's very hard to orientate yourself around here.

A bit of orienteering cleverness here...

Except for a small amount, enough to cast a shadow, Rah quickly flattens a small area of crop. He marks the end of the first shadow line and then waits a few minutes for the shadow to move and mark the end of that shadow. By forming a line between the two marks he now has a west-east line. To get north he moves in a line perpendicular to the west-east line. 😖mart:

don't think that's accurate....that depends on the position of the sun on the sky.there can be a ton of different shadow lines of that kind during a day

The logic of whether it would work or not is secondary to any skills Rah might have to help with that kind of improvised navigation. Sadly, he does not have such a skill.

However, probably more importantly, you don't have minutes, Rah. Your pursuers cannot be more than a minute behind you.

Well it was worth a try! 😄

Wouldn't our force enhanced survival instincts give us a clue towards the best place of safety, presumably the ships?

Was my plan deemed alright, Ush?

And Baylin, after reading that, I have no clue what you said. 😄

Sorry for the recent no shows- afraid I have been unwell

(moans in attempt for sympathy)

Oh, you're fine, Galder, just that doesn't help anyone else.

Rah- yup, they can. But you'll argue all day if you try and act as a group on three different instincts- so whose are you going to trust?

Ush I'm back online, so I can play. Unfortunately I am down, so Ican't. Bye.
