USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II, EPISODE I (DARK SIDE)- New Order

Galder heads over to Rah's discovered hatch, switching to his blaster and firing as the others get in.

"Doon, keep them covered with me!"

Afraid you don't, Rand; you have no idea of any such things being around here.

Galder, it's not open yet. Are you abandoning Tanic?

Nah, I'll help him to the entrance...?

Rah looks for an obvious way to open the access hatch.

If there's no obvious handle he'll Pull it with the force, if that fails he'll just cut it open with his sabre.

It looks like it needs some sort of remote, Rah. Given a bit of time and you could work on the electronics... but you don't feel luxurious with time right now.

A six frame cut job, this one. So what we need to do now is a. stay alive and b. get Rianna and Rand across...

... and we're done.

So jumping's no good, simply crossing the bridge is no good...how about swimming across the river? Could that feasibly work out with us getting across alive?

yes i did read it 🙂..just ddin't think of applying the frame rule on myself 😄

Can Tanic not disengage?

You might, Rianna. As you know, the river brings no safety from the Osokans but at least they haven't blocked it yet.

It is climbing up the far side that is the arse; the artificial banks are sheer.

You can give it a go, Tanic you can attempt a disengage any time you have an action... but if you and Galder both disengage then the Osokans simply swarm over the bridge; you two are keeping them there right now.

Galder will attack an Osokan then.

"We will have to drop into the river, Rianna," Nume says.

Tanic will also attack an osokan...

Basically, everyone's actions are set, save for Rianna and Rand, so it is proactive posting from those two I am after.

How high are the walls, and how deep is the river? Like, does it get shallower near the banks? I'm trying to work on something here...

Walls are some 20 feet high, and the river is some four people deep. It's an artificially walled river so gets no shallower- not far from being a canal.

Ehh, then screw what I was thinking, wouldn't work...

Could they jump in and climb up like I did? We can kill Osokans that move to block off the top.

You had to swim down to where the walls were more shallow in the town centre, Galder; under the bridge there is no such shallowness.

(Incidentally, in case you are thinking that that river is damn dangerous for a civilised world, the safety systems that permeate Cynellise society have been turned off).

I don't need brain surgery here; just any crossing idea that doesn't use the bridge. Doon still has his tensile wire available; he just won't surprise the Osokans by throwing it over again.

Can we give that a go?

Okay, if he's still got the wire, we could swim over the to bank and have him through it down to us so we can climb up...sound good?
