It could go either way really, Yao and Tracy might be the next Shaq and Kobe and build a dynasty but without the bickering or Tracy could start complaining about Van Gundy's system limiting his offense and wants out. It certainly will be fun to watch which way it goes.

if shaq goes to sac than the deal will probly be peja and webber for shaq..... sac isnt gonna trade bibby..yao and t-mac is gonna be interesting... i dont think t-mac is gonna have a problem with distrubiting the ball in vandy gundys offense....in orlando there best chance to win has having him score 30 points a game...he wont need to do that in houston

That would be the worst trade ever! I'm ok with getting Peja because I've always liked pure shooters...and he's about the best in the league. But Webber is a choke artist delux. The guy's never hit a big shot in his life. He's slow because of his knee and LA really really needs to get a center to replace Shaq otherwise they are going to get trounced on by 85% of the league. They should be able to get a better deal than that. I'd be ok with Miller....but not Webber.

i would rather have webber than miller.....you say that webber is a choke artist and i cant argue that coz he never has hit a big shot but peja is just as bad....he's awesome during the regular season but come playoff time its like watching a completely different player...and it wasnt just this year.... even when they had a chance to beat the lakers a couple years ago who still wasnt playing good in the postseason

very very true. And I don't see the point in obtaining Peja now, especially since Shaq wants out and the triangle will no doubt be scrapped for another offense. Peja would have a field day with most teams if he was on the same court as Shaq. As long as Shaq doesn't mind kicking it out for 3.

But i guess "the big shot" really wouldn't go to Webber or Peja anyways, because LA is trying to get Kobe back...and he's the only one I want with the ball when the game is on the line.

If you want Peja you can have him. In the regular season he's the best pure shooter in the league in the playoffs he becomes pure crap. On Webber since Game 7 in the Lakers series he's become much more clutcher for the Kings and is not afraid taking the big shot. The problem is he's been injured for the last two season so he hasn't been able to show it in the playoffs.

more clutcher?

Chris Webber has NEVER hit a shot of any kind of importance. Sure he can SHOOT the shot, but he's never made it.

Peja isn't the guy i want shooting the game winning shot and i know he gets cold in the playoffs, but he isn't going to be a great shooter year in and year out....but ALWAYS poor in the playoffs. He's bound to find his stoke during the playoffs....sooner or later.

Yeah Link, Webber hasn't hit a shot of any significant importants in the playoffs but the last two years I have seen that he wants the ball in the last minutes in games and isn't afraid of taking game winning or tying shots and he isn't a choke artist deluxe like he used to be.

I never said Peja was always going to struggle in the playoffs but these past three years when it comes to big games Peja always gets shut down with physical defense and he will pretty much do nothing else to help his team.

Since Game 7 v Lakers I look at three players on the Kings. Webber, Christie and Peja. Webber and Christie has both learned from their mistakes and have become better players from that experience and arent afraid of taking big shots while Peja hasn't learned from his mistakes and is scared of taking big ones.

Shooting the shot and making the shot are 2 different things.

That's the difference between Patrick Ewing and Hakeem Olajuwan (sp?)
One never hit the shot and consequently never was a champion, the other could hit the shot and he won 2 championships.

With Kobe on the Lakers, I'd be happy that Peja wouldn't want to take the last shot. That's why Kobe is a franchise player.

the lakers are pursuing coach K from duke...i'm really hopin this dont happen...i looove duke and coach K and everything he stand i loved duke before when ever since they had hurly, laettner, both hills and lang...if the lakers pry him away form the blue devils you can not image how bummed and pissed i will be 🙁 😠

Damnit, Boozer agreed to sign with Utah and Cleveland. Shit.

hey cleveland was dumb enough to make him a free agent

Well they had a verbal agreement and they expected Boozer to follow up on it. However, they were going to only pay him $5 million per season while Jazz offered $68 million for 6 years so I guess you can't really blame Boozer either (although he should feel ashamed 😠)

The Lakers proposed a trade to Miami sending Shaq to miami and Lamar Odom, Brian Grant, and a future first round draft pick. Shaq said that Miami is one of the teams he would like to go to. It would work for the Lakers because Shaq would be in the East therefore they would only face him twice.

I heard all that on ESPN.

Would the Lakers want to take that contract of Brian Grant. I dont know the exact number but I know its extremely high for an average player like Grant.

and they still need a legitament center on the Lakers. I know it's not my team to coach or own, but they serious need atleast 2 7 footers on that team. And Slava, at 6'10/11, does NOT have the defensive abilities to block shots or guard a big man in the block.

Spurs have come to agreements to re-sign Manu and to sign Brent Barry. They are also expected to re-sign Bruce Bowen. I'm glad to see Brent on Spurs (My former b-ball coach is his brother in law btw) but I was hoping that Portland could have picked him up. He was their #1 off-season target but he took less money to play for SA.

I just heard about the Shaq to Miami trade, I heard the deal is set, all the needs to be done now is an agreement amongst both teams.

Sounds like LA said that they will take the trade with either a 1st round pick or Caron Butler. If I was Orlando, I'd do it and send them the pick because Butler is probably better than whoever they'll get with a draft pick seeing that they'll have Shaq and all. Imagine how screwed the Heat would be though if Shaq got injured for most the season. Wade won't be able to carry the team to the playoffs all by himself, not even in the east.

Orlando Heat. lol

Anyway Miami only has to say yes is wut i heard.
