Shaq/Kobe/T-Mac... predictions?

I hope the deal goes through. As I've mentioned before, I love Shaq, and I believe Miami would be an appropriate destination. I never gave Miami much thought, but I like the idea. It's a team that is not overloaded with talent, just like LA was when Shaq first went there, then he rebuilt it and made it his team. I'm sure Miami won't go really far at first, it'll take some time like it took in LA, they'll get to the playoffs this year, I'm confident on that, but they'll probably get taken down early as LA did at first. And every year it was the damn Jazz that used to beat the Lakers out. lol But given some time, 2-3 years at least, Miami will get there. And of course, all of this goes only if the deal goes through.

Like I said, wouldn't it suck (or be funny/ironic) if they trade away all 3 important parts to last years success and then Shaq gets injured or has more feet problems leading to him sitting out and the Heat missing the playoffs. I'd laugh. 😆

All parties have agreed in principle to the trade. Sounds like LA gets both the pick and Butler.

Also, Kenyon Martin is expected to choose between Atlanta and Denver by Wednesday. Both offered him max deals.

Haha, yeah lol. If anything, that would suck bigtime on Miami's part. Seems like every year Shaq is getting injured somehow. Guess they have to hope for the best and keep Shaq healthy.

Ive heard they run their own store called POT R US. Ive also heard that Elgin Baylor is one of their best customers of the company which only makes sense since he must to be on drugs with all the terrible draft picks hes made. 😄

ok, i just wanna say. It's really hard to be a Laker fan right now. Like really really hard. This is looking worst than the Vlade years. And personally, i don't wanna wait til 2015 to get back to the finals.

Seems to me that Kobe was behind that Shaq trade. I wouldn't be surprise if he announces that he's leaving the Lakers.

As much as I hate the Lakers, that would be messed up to the Lakers organization and fans if Kobe leaves after he was given the GM position by firing Phil, trading away Shaq and getting to choose which coach he wants.

Not to be mean or anything, I could care less about what happens to Kobe. Myself, I've never cared for the guy to much, even though he was a great aspect in helping my Lakers win 3 championships. But Kobe has spent a lifetime complaining about Shaq, Jackson, him wanting his own team, and I can't stand him shooting into double coverage.

I admit, he's a great player, without him LA wouldn't have won 3 champs, so for that, I am greatful, but the Lakers Empire is rapidly diminishing now. Time to move on I guess.
