The universe in which George Lucas created "The Force" isn't the same as the Marvel Universe. Obviously the force choke can't be that strong because he could have used it against Obi Wan and Luke, even the emperor. He didn't and he died. Doom would kill him, sorry if you dislike that.

Riiiight. Is this why his ship was blasted during SW Last Hope? Where was that force greater than destroying a planet? I guess maybe Vader and the Emperor likes being humiliated and their Star Destroyer blown up to pieces.
As for that line by Yoda, he means the dark side of the force is blinding the galaxy, it's evil - NOT its power.
And no, a blast from Doom is stronger and larger than some puny laser blast. A full blast from Doom took out Kang The Conquer. Another full blast fried Adam Warlock from head to toe. That was one blast while Warlock tried to surprise Doom. Vader ain't reflect a blast like that with his hand. Him and his armor gets trashed, running out of breath Vader dies.
As for force choke, a blast to the face and Vader's dead. That or Doom Ovoid mindswitches with Vader. Doom wins.
