Yeah I agree. I'm looking forward to seeing the birth of Vader. Just don't see why it would be a plus to his power as it's been established he gets stronger as time goes on.

Hahaha. Yes, because the Tie Fighter that got taken out by one blast from the Millenium Falcon is going to be a factor.
It's either Doom Vs Vader one on one, or it's not. If Vader get's Tie Fighter, Doom gets to make a weapon. Which is detrimental to Vader.
They have to fight somewhere, ok. Death Star? Then your planet destroying theory is out the window. Earth? Still out the window.
Doom isn't losing a one on one fight with Vader any way or any how. I like Vader, I think he's a cool villain. Well deserved of his rep but he's not Doom, and he won't beat Doom.

After Anakin was defeated by Obi Wan in EPIII he gets limbs chopped off and loses midichlorians in the process. If that hadn't happened Lucas said himself that Anakin would have become twice as strong as the Emperor. After losing to Obi Wan, Anakin (Vader) is 20% weaker and cannot use force lightning because of his mechanical limbs.

A) I said Darth Maul got cut in half by Obi Wan Kenobi. My common image of him is from the original movies, so I generally think of him as Alec Guinness, not Ewan McGregor. I wasn't wrong at all because the purpose of my statement was to show that Obi Wan cut Darth Maul in half. Which he did.
