I liked PoA too even if I was acutely hoping that more of the Shrieking Shack book scenes reached the film. Such scenes were: Lupin's revelation to the makers of the marauders' map leading up to his story about his Animagi friends and Sirius' explanation on his escape from Azkaban. IMO, these scenes were quiet powerful and would have pushed Harry's emotional envelope further, bringing depth to the character.

I think why the director and J.K. Rowling put those Ron and Hermione "holding hands" moment to give us a clue of what is going to happen in the next books. One mistakes was when Harry is being "attacked" by the dementers in the forest with Sirius, Harry sees stag (a male deer) across the lake/pond. But later on, after the time turner, when Harry actually does the patronus it is just a white shield even when you see it from across the lake.One thing I thought was kind of stupid was the shrunken heads talking(in the Knight Bus and the Three Broomsticks).
I was kind of confused in how they made the Three Broomsticks look like a crappy pub, like Hogs Head(seen in Book 5).

i am thinking the EXACT SAME THING...Jason Isaacs broguht a little more edge to Lucius Malfoy... after seeing him in the 2nd film, i couldn't imagine anyone else as Draco's daddeee..
in an old kmc article that i read long ago, jason isaacs said that he had alot of fun playing lucius malfoy and would love to do so more often. lots of luck to him 😊
on another note, lupin didn't explain enough to harry about the history behind the map. or more really the meaning behind the codenames on the map. revealing he was moony and all. yah dig?
OMG!!!!! i saw poa the other night and it's so good!!! BUTTT!!! yo have to've read the book, otherwise its crap and you dont get it...well thats what i thought (ive read tha book...but i thougt...man if i hadnt read the book i wouldntve got it) and my friends who havnt read the book (i like...have go at em every day) hated it and didnt get it!!!!
god it was such a good movie...well obviously not the best movie of all time....but compared to the others it was!!!
Ok. I saw POA yestraday! and I liked very much, especially when Hermi frees Serious (bombardum) But I have to admit I'm very disapointed with the new Dumbledore !!! OMG, the old Albus and the one in the books spole little but did a lot, his spirit was above Hogwarts and I mean the guy shined with dignaty and respect, what is not the case with the new actor! He just speaks very fast and a lot ! Dissapointed!
Secondly, Dan, Ema .... just grew too much, I mean, the next movies if are not done soon will be very weird !

Ack how can you say he was played badly! he was awesome...the hugging is in the book and it shows Lupin and Sirius are friends plus it freaked people out who didn't read the book cause they had no idea what was going on...he didn't put the hug in anyway! the writers did so if you think it looked gay yell at the writers not the actors!
