Also these are just some mistakes that really pissed me off 😠
If you guys know any others that be great 😄
a bit of rephrasing needed i think...
they weren't mistakes though, were they?they were deliberately left out 😠
it's so darn unfaithful to the book!!!
but that's the thing abt televising a novel i guess *shrugs* you can't please everyone
they shld have left the damn books alone in the 1st place and never started this whole movies business 😠
J.K Rowling has a really great talent for writing books like Harry Potter. But then again, maybe it’s because kids can appreciate it because it isn't really focusing on adults, but on growing children. Also, I think the spells and such fascinate people. But I think that if she wrote books on something else, I doubt that the response will be so large.
the guy who plays Ron has to learn to act. and Seamus also. they were wooden and it was like they were in a middle school play instead of a major motion picture
that said, radcliffe was 100x better than he was in the previous two movies. Though when he was crying after hearing that Sirius betrayed his parents, his eyes weren't even red! seriously, just put a pinch of pepper in the corner of your eye and BAM, red eyes.
This movie was a lot better than the first two. It had a more grown up feel to it; the plot seemed to go along instead of just random jumps forward like the previous two. If only Cuaron would have had one of the better books to do instead of, as the alibi says"It's basically a transitional tale, introducing a whole bunch of crucial characters, but not really doing much with them."
Which is true. There really isn't a big confrontation, except for Harry vs the Dementors and Harry and Hermione vs Injustice. There is "no major confrontation, no appearnce by Voldemort and, ultimately, no villain."
But those gripes really have to do with the plot, which more or less stays true to the book (do we really need to see three Quidditch matches? Does it really matter when Harry receives the Firebolt?) At times the changes are actually better than in the book--look at the Night Bus ride, and the token opening scenes at the Dursleys--these are loads better than in the book and best of all, for the movie, are concise. As soon as I saw the first few scenes, I knew that this director knew what he was doing more than Columbus (who's other notable movie is..Home Alone) The scene where Harry first sees the "Grim" with the playground still glistening from a fresh rain, and the wind coming through...that scene convinced me right then and there that the movie was going to be better. And it was.

^I honestly love the guy who plays Ron...his facial expressions are hilarious! I just find him to be a very funny actor 🙂
also, people must realize that for some of these child actors who appear in the movies are first time actors and don't always have alot of experience. becoming a good actor takes time, even as young as they are.
i just wanna say somethin small and hope ppl dont go blah blah at me but yea anyways..i think that since youve read all the books so far & its so good you expect a high expectation of the movie..does anyone agree??? well thats just me.. 😮 and everyone well that i know..knows that the books are waaayy better then the movies..you expect your favourites parts to be put in but yea they cant put 2 hour harry potter movies up..and i know most of you wish they could...lol

I agree. 😉
i would like to say one thing about/to the people saying the books are better than the movies; hey, at least these people who are making the movies are trying! besides, on another note, the story and action is limited for they have to make it for lil kids to see it. so a lot of good stuff that we teenagers may like, don't get into the movies. sadly. sucks that it's so restricted to smaller kids that way, no? at one point, i thought it would be nice to have one version for kids and one version for teeangers to adults. but i was just being pessimestic that day. so excuse those negative thoughts.
on that note i just wanna say that i do agree with what BOP has to say but, i dont think that thinking the books are better than the movies are negative thoughts but its just looking at the fact of things...and looking at it realisticly...i think its great that the everyone involved in making the movies are going hard and i wouldnt say anything bad about it..but i think that real Harry Fanz would love to feel that excitement they feel when reading their books as to watching the movies...
but i do think that if we had versions for kids and longer and more detailed movies for adults that would cool..
