and i've always thought that the way they say it in the movie is the correct pronunciation, cuz JK helps them w/ the movies, making sure they put in all the important stuff...so i'm sure she'd tell them the proper pronunciations.

well, i just like to pretend that the second "i" is silent and pronounce the way that sounds better in my mind. it doesn't have to faithful to merry old england way, but i don't care.

i like all the movies all the same 😄

i love the new uniforms, makes it so much easier to spot the difference. when i saw the first movie, i kept trying to see who was from what house and it was nearly impossible! cause for a fanfic, i was trying to figure out if all houses are in classes together or just certain few.

do you guys know when the DVDs coming out?...i heard sometime around November...but i also heard it'll only be 4 or 5 months b/f the next book comes out, know if either is true?

most likely the dvd would come out around early to mid december. as for the sixth book, i doubt it. probably not until next year or so. at the rate that the books are gettin' longer and everything...

not to bash the new movie or anything like that, but i think it was TOTALLY a disappointment. i was way worked up about seeing it, and it ended up not being that great. don't get wrong i think it was better than the other two, but didn't have the same touch to it that the book did.

😆 thats a random pic elondra 🙂 but i agree kind of with you...i was a tad disappointed by the 3rd movie--sorry tass i know theres an official movie thread but its like wayyy wayyyy back there 😉 -- anyways...i was really upset that they didnt show the scene where harry first produces a patronus and knocks malfoy, crabbe and goyle senseless in that quidditch match! also, he did NOT get a patronus on the first try with remus, and they put the firebolt at the END of the movie? what good is that? we never even saw him play quidditch on that~! that was one of my favorite parts <: /

They left the part out wher Sirius goes into their dormatory! And I know they filmed that scene, becaues I've seen pics of it! Why did they leave it out?? 🙁

While I agree that many changes and brilliant scenes from the book were not in the movie, dont forget though that the films are interpretations of the books JKR actually works with the script writer (they did an interview together , its on the cos dvd)

but she did say that book six will prolly be a bit shorter...i just want to believe that it will be out soon so badly!!!
