I agree with Aska. That the statement where Hiei "dies" is incorrect. He was indeed saved and he is there at the end of the series, proving he survives.

It's not like Kuwabara had much of a choice since he wasn't invited to demon world at the time.

well i wouldnt know that part, since i didnt watch after the dark tournament, they just reached a level of stupidity that i just couldnt comprehend
