Let's not be ignorant. He has the most brute strength

is that why when in episode 1, he got his head pounded into the concrete by Yusuke? and how often do you get to use brute strength in a fight of demon power fights

You guys have NO faith in Kuwabara. Kuwabara is very strong. He has the jigenpo for crying out loud. And Yusuke would take Kurama out. Kurama maybe smarter, but he wouldn't win against Yusuke. Hiei would also lose to Yusuke.

kuwabara just has lots of spirit power...nothing much else really...

He has spirit power and strength. It's fine if u guys don't like Kuwabara, just give him some friggin respect. He may be an idiot, but he's a powerful idiot.

I've got no beef with Kuwabara but all he has are the spirit swords.
And they pale in comparison to the Dragon and Rei Gun and Rose Whip

He's got the jigenpo. Do u guys even know what that is?

* on 2nd OAV, Kuwabara was shown being able to endure energy attacks. Yusuke, as durable as he might be, can only endure physical attacks. i give Kazuma his credit, although he was also shown as an idiot. he even led the momentum attack on the main villain through his newly regained spirit powers.

* later in the series, Kuwabara is widely out-classed in the battle in the demon world, much like Chu, Jinda, Ringo and others. he might have this dimensional sword, but that's just it...

actually that information is only partially correct, as you said, yes Kuwabara can endure great spiritual attacks, but also can Yusuke, if you do not remember the fight between him and Chu, Yusuke got blasted wick hard, it shouldve killed him, and probably wouldve killd kuwabara, but only injured Yusuke.

* Yusuke's fight with Chu was much earlier in the series, in comparison to the 2nd OAV (i supposed so)... 'coz they were much stronger in the 2nd OAV compared to the series, particularly the Toguro Tournament saga...

* in the 2nd OAV, it was the other way around, Kuwabara endured, and actually caught the main villain's energy ball and threw it someplace else... the energy ball should have killed Yusuke, hadn't Kuwabara stood before Yusuke...

* hey, actually, i'm a Yusuke-fan, but i think Kuwabara deserves this credit because i believe Yusuke owes his life to Kuwabara in that scenario...

* correct me if i'm wrong in series chronologically, or some details and stuff...

waht would the name of this oav be?

* the Poltergeist report, or sorta...

the poltergeist report is a movie of the series. the movie was a whole different story line and yusuke's powers were still rising during that timeline.

God and i was just starting to understand everything thats said
and no THEQUINCY i dont know what i Jigenpo is

yes that's true he is out-classes in the demon world toournament. However, like Kurama said, he could have been the difference maker. Even though he wasn't as strong as yusuke, kurama. or hiei he could have gotten lucky in the tournament roster and fought weak demons in the beginning and fought maybe like a tired and weak yomi at the end. That would have been a strange ending if kuwabara had gone and won the demon world tournament.

that wouldve been craaaazy, crazy i say, and hilarious at the same.......thoughts died again

true. it could've been the luck. but in the last episode, while kuwabara and kurama were in the train station, kuwabara said that he's smart enough to know his own strength and when to back out. he has a higher sprirt awareness than a regular human but he is indeed ALL human after all. you may say genkai was all human too, but she had the spirit wave to help her. and she was defeated by toguro after she passed that on to yusuke. and we all know that toguro is only a b-class demon.

* personally, i like Yusuke better as an all-human, rather than half-human and half-demon...

* and it's really frustrating to see Yusuke lose at the demon world tournament, but he needed to lose for him to go back and marry Keiko... he may let blow up his ego again if he won, just like what he did when he won over Toguro...

* would someone please explain how Yusuke got the demon blood? is Raizen really his biological father or only his ancestor? if Raizen is his father, how did Raizen met Atsuko (Yusuke's mother)?

me so lost

raizen is yusuke's ancestral father. before the makai barrier was put up, demons roamed the humand world and can freely move between the demon world and the human world. it was then that raizen met yusuke's distant grandmother (about 40 generations back) and impregnated her because, well, he can't eat her... but that's another story. anyways, yusuke's yokai blood remained dormant up to the point in the chapter black saga when he was killed by sensui.

i don't really know if raizen is yusuke's father. if you translate the japanese dialogue into english, urameshi actually calls him "old man." plus, he calls gankai grandma though they're not related.

so in really short terms, it was a turn in the plot so as they could get more ratings and PA, when you get back on, check out whats going on in the Hiei/Kurama gay thread, so just like check, and if you feel the need, and i hope you do, please post.
