yeah i watched that crap, or the better part of it, but when they started talking about that golden Spirit Energy, or whatever the hell it is, yeah i was outa there
favorite thing ever said from that whole saga was when "sniper" was making the truck drive after Yusuke, it was plowing down a bunch of tree and such, and Yusuke was running infront of it when he shouted "your gonna here from green peace about this." well green peace helps the oceans, not the tree's.

like SS said, right after sensui killed him. when he first died, yusuke's spirit awareness and energy weren't as strong as when he got killed again. when urameshi got hit by a car, his spirit IMMEDIATELY floated out of his body. but after going all through that training with genkai, receiving the spirit wave, and winning the dark tournament, he was remarkbly stronger... perhaps the same factors awoken his demon blood.
second theory on this, seeing as how the tunnel from demon world opened up to the human world, raizen was bale to do it himself, much like he took control of urameshi's body to finish of sensui.
SS > the energy coming from sensui was what he called "divine energy." mush stronger than spirit energy, but not as quite as strong as demon energy. it is also limitless, unlike spirit energy. if you remember, yususke can only fire his spirit gun up to 4 times until the end of the dark tournament, or until his youkai blood was awoken.

Sensui's sacred energy is stronger than Demon energy. Raizen was just stronger.

this was when they were dueling in the cave. sensui's sacred light ki might've been stronger than yusuke's spirit ki, but not his demon ki. which in essence is raizen's ki. yusuke was never the underdog in this battle. the thing is he was irrational, impatient and simply wants to kick a$$ without thinking about technique, defense or any pattern at all. sensui on the other hand... he's very defensive and he was always a step ahead of yusuke. that's why he appeared to be more powerful than urameshi. like they say... "knowing is half the battle." shinubo knows...

agreed on the shinobu thingy, but i still think that randomness in a fight ((considering i do so a whole lot)) is much better than a defensive person, defensive people ((having used to be one)) atend to go and be hesitant abou their attacks, i know this because i fight atleast once a weak, if not twice a week
there's absolutely nothing wrong with being random. and i'll go on a limb here and assume that you're opponents don't know, albeit heard, of every single martial art technique. this is why sensui can predict urameshi's attacks. and urameshi tends to use the same pattern over and over. that's why sensui knows what he would do even before urameshi actually does it. whatever urameshi throws at sensui, sensui counters... everything.
