cause in the 6th book it says they have different mothers but i thought ice maidens werent supposed to "mate" with anyone else

the ice apparitions migrated to an ice island floating somewhere in the demon world. all ice apparitons are women. they concieve only through immaculate conception, no touch of men. when heie was born, her mother was shunned by the ice apparitions for breaking their sacred traditions. hiei is yukina's twin brother. so they do share the same mother.

random is right, but wasnt it more of a "hiei's father was a Fire Apparition, and Yukina was born of the immaculate conception" as thats what i always heard it as

it just says that every woman who has snuck down off the island and has had sex with anyone has had a boy that was a fire apparition.

well its kinda like that, but it was a fire aparition, cause otherwise how would you end up with a fire aparition with out the blood of one? its like this "you dont get a black kid from two pure blood irish people" but yes, i get were your coming from, in the books it doesnt say that hiei's dad was a fire aparition, but in the episodes it does, they go more into depth in the show of course who knows, i could just be pulling stuff out of my ass, but we will see wont we?
