USH'S MATRIX GAME FIFTH ASSIGNMENT (PHILOSOPHY PATH)- 'The Reason'

Started by Ushgarak33 pages

It is only 15 MA! Hand of the Jade Emperor is accurate.

Ok, before we go on with anything else, we'll take Castor's Reflex attack on Jericho. I assume that is just a punch, qand so as not to bugger up the frame counts, jericho will not dodge that. Castor rolls +4, for a hit! Sadly, due to Castor not being the strongest of people (by Matrix standards), that was only one damage.

Then, after his blow, Castor manages to neatly avoid Jericho's riposte, and then manages to jump over Castor*'s sweep!

Rade JUST dodges Rade*'s attack also!

Rade to go first. When he is done, Jericho will perform a Breath of the Dragon on Rade.

flip of the grasshopper at rade*
and...unyielding tiger stance as a refles attack on jericho..if i can

Is your intention to disengage with the Flip?

nope..thought i could do both. but .....i disengange the filp, then, yes 😄

Err, kinda lost me there... are you trying to leave the fight or not? Bear in mind that will mean you going back the way you came, leaving Castor to face the music.

If Heph hadn't killed the musicians, that is.

i'm not trying to leave the fight. i'm trying to get Rade* prone (fat chance) to deal better with jericho.
so i thought i could do the unyileding tiger stance AFTER the filp at rade, as a reflext attack for jericho's attack....but guess not.
flip at rade..and dodge at jericho, then

Err, Flip doesn't prone people, Rade, it leaves fights.

damn.....must read more carefully then.

jump of the grasshopper then, instead.
and if the stance goes, for jericho, i do that afterwards..if not..dodge on him

Rade will try and Unyielding Grasshopper Stance that one! Rade, you roll +1 for a 15. Rade*... rolls -2! A hit, as Rade* is catapulted into a cylinder (which he bounces off) and is proned, taking five damage as well.

Are you planning to dodge Jericho's attack at all? The Stance is resolved simultaneously so I need to know in advance.

well i can't do both dodge and stance, no?

Kick of the Grasshopper on Castor*

Yes you can, Rade...

then both it is!

Rade* is effectively framed out, and anyone can use Prone attacks on him until the new sequence if you so wish.

Jericho will let Rade's riposte come. Oh ugh- Rade rolls -8 and it goes nowhere anyway. Jericho's own attack rolls -4; the two of you have been so concerned with fancy moves and dodges that everything goes nowhere!

Castor* will in fact make a Kick of the Grasshopper of his own on Castor before Castor does his one back, and then Jericho will finish off with a Bite of the Dragon on you, Rade.

dodge

Castor* rolls +2; nice try but Castor's dodge just about keeps him safe. He dodges the return blow, as Castor rolls -6. However, he will also use an Unyielding Tiger Stance against your Kick, replying with a Punch of his own.

Jericho, meanwhile, rolls -1, and Rade stays safe.

So we just need Castor's possible defence against Castor*'s riposte.

dodge

That'll put you a frame down next sequence, ok?

Umm..sure.
