Xiao Emo will start off the same way as before, Heph- hooking his bone-swords together and swinging them as one for a Sting of the Mantis.

Rade* will leap forwards and perform a double kick on you both, with Awesome Downpour- modified with Hands Without Shadow.

Castor* will Claw of the Tiger at Castor, whilst Jericho will kick off with a fresh Hand of the Jade Emperor at Rade.

Well, I've sussed that defensive actions against Mantis moves mean that you take 2 frames rather than 1, thank you very much...

And now, the Xiao Emo whirls his blades around for a new assault, a Retreat of the Mantis...

I only see one by Castor*, but whatever the other is I will just dodge.

Hephaestus defends with Crane Stance.

Eeek! Having not improved your Mind score, I am afraid that was unlikely, Heph- remember, you have to BEAT yur opponent's score, not just match it.

Luckily, The Xiao rolls -3 and misses.

Unluckily, he has performed a successful disengage (work out how if you want). You duck under the swing of his blow, but this gives him time to step away from the combat! He steps back again, still blocking your way to the door, links his blades and stands in front of you, blades outstretchd across his body (like Maul's sabre) as he waits for you to act.

Castor, Rade* attacked you both, that was the other blow. Unfortunately, as this was a Hands Without Shaodw attack, your dodge is illegal and I must cancel it.

Rade* rolls +2 for a 16. I am afraid Rade's counter-blow fails, and so Rade* hits, for four damage to Rade, six to Castor. Rade* looks rather smug about that...

Jericho rolls +1... which is a 17. With another blurring slash, he cuts into Rade for six damage, which has double-impaired him.

Castor* misses. Castor's return stroke is dodged by Castor*; I asusme it is a standard punch. Castor rolls +5; a hit! Four damage.
