Alright, forget the Walk then.

Learned Tutor's Block, followed by a Astounding Mule Kick if I manage to Block him.

The Xiao Emo rolls -6, Heph, indicating a hit and Block.

However, he then immediately uses Unyielding Grip of the Mantis, which basically means his previous attack is repeated for zero frames immediately.

Jericho rolls -2... you roll -3, Rade, and no joy for anyone.

That is correct, Heph.

The Xiao Emo does not dodge the Beak. You roll +2; a hit! You get in under his guard, twist him around and hold him fast.

The Xiao Emo promptly vanishes and appears to your side in an instant. Grinning, he lashes down upon you with a Bite of the Mantis- no trouble working that one out, as his attack takes two frames.

Jericho had not left the combat at the point Castor struck so that is legal. he lets the attack come. Castor rolls evens- not quite good enough!

Fox's Retreat, don't want him to get away so easily.

My next attack will be Kick of the Grasshopper modified by Strike of the Snake, and then, if I can attack again, a Lightning Fist.

The Xiao Emo rolls +2 again... a miss. However, again following the attack he drops back and disengages!

Strike of the Snake is not a modifier, I am afraid... so that move will need re-doing.

I thought bite of the dragon added +3 damage?

I will dodge his claw and then use bite of the dragons with hands without shadow.
