USH'S GAME EPISODE II- 'REVENGE'. Light Side Area

Gundark's lightsabre was drawn and activated before the second blaster cleared its holster. "We've done nothing to warrant arrest, Faylar !" she shouted up to him.

"We are going to see Faylar and dicuss a treaty." Lance said, with some truth behind his words.

"What IS it with you people?" asks Faylar. "*I* am in charge here, I say what you can or cannot be arrested for! Lay down your weapons! At once!"

-

Lance-

"You are not permitted to come though here," the droids say.

"Hang on," says the man. "They're right! What the heck was I thinking?"

Gundark did not even consider lowering her blade. "What are you going to do, Faylar ? Shoot us down in cold blood ?"

"If you don't put down your weapons you are damn right I will shoot you," he says. He means it, too. "Five seconds," he says. "Then we fire."

Four droidekas start to roll up, two either side of you.

This guy is serious, Mah thought. He shut down his lightsabre.

Waiting for Gundy then...

They win this round, Kellan....

She was no fool. They could defend themselves from droidekas at short range only for a limited amount of time. She de-activated her sabre, letting her arm drop to her side. She looked at Faylar with an inquiring glance.

Faylar smiles.

"Much better," he says. "I will have you know that the penalty for entering the command area unauthorised is death. What have you to say for yourselves?

"Jedi are not afraid to die, Kuylen," Gundark stated without rancor. "But I would assume you would at least let us present our case before you condemn us." She lifted her chin slightly. "In private, of course."

(It's Faylar. You can be SOOOOO glad it is not Kuylen!)

Faylar looks thoughtful.

"Take their weapons," he orders his guards. "We will meet in my quarters."

Meanwhile, the person of Shareth's being escorted down below is coming up the balconies.

Gundark surrendered her lightsabre to one of Faylar's security guards and nodded to mah and phinney for them to do the same. She was weaponless now, but she still had the Force. And a powerful ally it was. Now all she needed to do was figure out how to talk Faylar into releasing them and collect Argentis along the way. Trouble was, how ??

You are taken up to the higher level, and out back to his personal quarters, which are highly comfortable and full of scanners showing views of the outside world.

"Faylar," says one of his aides, "Shareth has sent the code box for the droids. We can actiavte them all in moments." Faylar nods, happily. The aide leaves, but two droidekas are in his quarters.

"Please, have a seat," offers Faylar. "And say what you have to say."

At least we're not chained up in the dungeon...this may work.. Gundark thought.

"We've come here under orders from the Jedi council to attempt to locate a 'missing' Jedi whom we have reason to believe may have traveled here in search of his former Master."

"I see," says Faylar. "So, instead of contacting me, the elected ruler of this part of space, to ask about this missing Jedi, you instead team up with terrorists led by Verlaine, make illegal entry to this city, and then break into my command centre. Interesting."

He reaches for a comm link.

"Bring Kiel here," he says.

Oh no.....they've got Kiel too. Things were going badly. She tried a different tactic. "Despite the fact that we represent the Republic we are not here to support Verlaine's military actions against you. Our entrance to the city may have been unauthorized in your eyes, but I'm sure many more less than desirable visitors have already slipped through your security screens." Let him chew on that thought... She was beginning to sense a tremendous amount of fear underneath Faylar's veneer of confidence.

"That hardly excuses your actions!" says Faylar. "And if you people had done your job properly on Jaglon Beta then Kuylen's thugs wouldn't be romping over my city!"

Yerssot, you are brought in at this point.

"I thought we would bring your young friend as well."

I knew it....he's terrified of Kuylen. Thats going to work in our favor... she was rolling this thought over in her mind when yerssot came in. She felt a combination of relief and anger as she slowly stood and went to face him. "I believe you have some explaining to do to the Council, young Knight."

"Kiel at least had the politeness to simply talk to my men," says Faylar. "I wish I could say the same for those that are with him." He presses a button and onme of the monitors on the wall flicks up an image of Lance and Xeth by one of the hidden entrances outside. They are trying to sneak in while the droids are loading but have been challenged by one of Faylar's men and droids.

"Hardly subtle," says Faylar.

Gundark shrugged her shoulders. "Never the less, it would be best if we avoided any more unpleasant confrontations. And once Kuylen and his group find you, its going to be more than unpleasant I guarantee you." She took a deep breath. "I've recently discovered our missing Jedi amongst your security team and I would appreciate if you would release him into my custody at once."
