USH'S GAME EPISODE II- 'REVENGE'. Light Side Area

"I'm sure he's bent on destroying Faylar, " Gundark answered as she hurried beside him. "But I wonder if he has sensed the presence of his former padawan ?"

I assume you and Kiel want to take lifts down? To which level?

How about one above Faylar's level ?

Assuming you know where Faylar is!

I assume you mean that cargo area between the top of the balcony and the landing area. You are on your way now...

...though you sense great strife in the near future. Kiel clearly feels it too, because for the first time since you met him he is fingering his sabre.

Quick update for me please!

You and Xeth are by the lifts up to, first, the upper cargo area, and above that the landing are where Gundy is.

BTW, I will assume that Gundy is keeping you two informed by comms about what is happening, yeah? In which case you just heard that Kuylen is heading into that cargo area above you.

BTW, the fierce battle with the Dark Siders still rages belwo you guys. It looks like Arashan is nearly history, Quam has killed Krisha, and the huge form of Chion has joined the fight

EVERYONE READ- it is roughly at this point that the main lifts, that Faylar's men are in, suddenly power down.

Can I use the lifts to get to the cargo area?

I would think so.

Just double checking.

Yes, in fact there are no stairs up into them (though there are some stairs that go up out of them to the landing area)

With the main lifts having just failed, you will have to use one of the smaller ones.

Ush, are we able to get off the lift before the power failure or are we on a service lift ?

Lance nods to Xeth to follow him.

They walk over to the smaller lift and climb in.

Lance turns around and pushes the button to go up.

The lift starts to move...

Everyone's lift works fine UNTIL they arrive at the upper cargo level, at which point they fail (and the emergency systems open the doors)

As I described before to Gundy, this place is made up of towering columns of crates, creating corridors, some wiede, some narrow. There are also various sub-levels, and large cranes hanging from the ceiling.

It is very quiet and rather eerie; in the background you can just about make out the sound of Faylar's men.

This level is VERY large, though.

Lance starts to walk around crouching as low as he can at the same time.

He also hides behind boxes while trying to sneak up on Kuylen and Faylar's men.

Sadly, not having the slightest idea where either of them are doesn't help much.

Also worth noting whether you are going to treat Faylar's men as hostile or not. As it is, they are trying to escape the Dark Siders. They are likely to be jumpy but they are unlikely to want to fight you guys as well!

You can still hear the fighting down below, Lance, as scores of battle droids try to take down Galder. He's good, but not THAT good, and soon those Dark Siders are going to have to retreat or be killed. They will HAVE to head here.

You almost ignite your sabre when you round a corner and bump into someone... but it is Gundy and Kiel! (WHo nearly do likewise...)

"Master Gundark it's nice to see you again. You as well Keil. Do you have any idea where these men are? I'm trying to follow their voices, but it's too hard with all the fighting going on."

Kiel thinks.

"Faylar's men were using the main lifts... that's the far side of this whole area from the stairs out of here. They have a long way to go to get to the landing platform above us.

"Trouble is with all these damned crates around I have no idea where the stairs are, either.. I get the feeling our enemies will be waiting at the stairs as well- it is the one place they KNOW Faylar will go."

Gundark sensed Lance's presence as soon as they came off the lift.

She spoke quietly to Kiel. "There is a wave of energy building up in the Force...you sense it also ?"

"There is certainly something disturbing it," says Kiel. "I think I owe you an apology, Master Gundark. I think few people at the Temple took this threat from Kuylen seriously, but now I have felt his presence... it is hard to ignore."

"So what are we gonna do when we find them? Take one Kuylen or what?"

"I thini it is important that we find Argentis first," says Kiel. "Surely that is our largest worry, do you not agree, Kellan?"

"Yes, that's the mandate isn't it?" says Xeth. "We should find Argentis. He's probably near his ex-mentor." Xeth shakes his head and makes a few clicking sounds. "I can't get the feeling out of my head that danger is extremely close to us..."
