Literally speaking, you and Lance don't know where the lifts will lead you; but I'll tell you anyway- there is one crowded cargo level then the landing platofrm area (also split into balconies) above that.

Faylar's lot are using the main lifts up but there are many smaller ones.

Julie, you and Ithrorn approach the Palace, walking into the security zone which should bring lots of instant death your way. But as it is, someone seems to have killed all the guards around here and disabled the defences, using large lightsabre cuts. They then slashed through the wall and went inside.

"No Jedi did this," says Ithrorn, looking at the vicious way the guards were killd.

Gundark waited for the figure to appear once more, hoping he would head straight down toward Kiel...

A while passes, and the figure has not yet come, Gundy... this doesn't feel right.

I have a bad feeling about this.... Gundark didn't take time to backtrack to Kiel but instead headed at a brisk pace up the seemingly empty staircase, resisting an impulse to pull her lightsabre....

Ok, now you have headed up, you can see into the covered corridor where the man in the robes was, but only part of it... you can't see him yet, though the corridor carries on quite some way.

Gundark slipped along the corridor, hoping to take the figure by surprise.

As you advance, you finally see the cloaked figure in the distance, moving away from you. Perhaps trying to go all the way around and get to the stairs from the other side... but Kiel would still be waiting there.

Gundark quickened her step to catch up to the figure.

You are catching with it... the closer you get, the more you notice that the figure isn't walking with any urgency. In fact, there is something very odd about the way the figure walks altogether.

Something is still not right...

What is going on here..... Closer now, she reached out with the Force to try to detect what was under that robe...

You rech out and you sense...

Nothing. No mind at all. Huh?

You reach forward and pull down the hood. It is a battle droid.

"Err... let go of me..." it drones.

Dammit....we've been tricked ! Gundark pulled out her sabre and took the droid's head off with one sweep. She then raced down the stairs to rejoin Kiel.

Kiel sees the look of alarm on your face.

"What is it?" he asks.

"The figure under the robe was a damned battle droid ! I'm sure Kuylen has slipped past us. We've got to find him before Argentis does. Let's head back toward Faylar's control center."

As you turn around, you see Kuylen in one of the lifts. The door closes and he starts to descend.

"Kiel, look ! There !," Gundark pointed toward the lift. "That's Kuylen !!"

"I saw him," said Kiel, as the two of you (presumably) head to the lifts after him. "He is playing us for fools... he has a very arrogant mind. That makes him very dangerous., What do you think his plan is?"
