(Run bro, muahahaha!!!) (I guess the battle has begun, so I'll start some more action)
Xeth looks at the droids and says some unaudible words in his native tongue. Then he uses the Force to shove some battle droids backwards into walls and whatever is behind. Xeth then turns to the escort and fires a few shots.

Actually, I got that wrong. Rex has actually jumped onto YOUR level, though that makes no actualy difference until NOW, because he has just seen you two.
Bit cruel ato actually shoot that guy, Xeth, who was escorting you guys in good faith. But at this range you can easily knock the gun out of his hands, and he will return your sabre and the one Lance is mean to give to yerss (if he ever posts here again).
Galder attempts a large leap onto the next balcony as Faylar and his men hurry towards the lifts.
But a rapid ac of fire threatens to bisect him as he does so, as Arashan fires at him from the balcony below with his repeater gun (you guys have played Jedi Outcast, I am sure...). Galder aborts his jump and lands on the other side of the balcony.
The droids are rather sparse where you are right now, but far more numerous down below- more than you would care to face out in the open like this.
Faylar's bodyguard is also well-armed but they are currently running like girls on the level above you.
Gald dives off your level and tries to bear down on Arashan below, who slides out of the way using his grav-boots.
As I have to stop to wait for others at this point it's a good time to say this...
You guys in the Light Side thread need to actually decide what it is you are trying to do. You know the bad guys are here to kill Faylar; your mission is technically about Argentis (with Xeth finding out about these Dark Siders on the way); you seem resolved to stop Faylar's plans for domination but if you attack his bodyguard then it might be said by many that you were helping the bad guys!
I know it is a bit complex but that is actually one of the things about the story- how much can you guys do and still be seen as good guys?
What you can definitely do with clear consciences is:
1. Defend yourselves
2. Kill droids
3. Attack the Dark Siders.
If you guys wnat to discuss options, feel free.
Lance looks to the man that was escorting them and uses the force to get Yerssot's lightsaber back.

Lance tosses the weapon towards Yerssot and immediately after he pulls out his own weapon and ignites it with a familiar snap-hiss.

Lance catches the lightsaber and snaps it onto his belt as fast as he can.
As soon as he finishes doing that he moves his hand to the hidden blue-bladed lightsaber.
He unsnaps it and ignites it with a familiar snap-hiss.

With his main weapon back in his hands Lance takes up a defensive position on the balcony, using the force to sense if anything is amiss around him.
Xeth lands nearby the Dark Jedi and Arashan. Xeth watches the man fight Arashan, then leaps away as a group of battle droids approach. He deflects some shots back at the droids, and then starts cutting up the rest. Battle droids parts lay shattered on the floor. Xeth then uses Force push to shove some other battle droids off of a balcony.
Xeth then leaps back up to Lance. "I think we should play defence for awhile, don't you?" he says as he shoots a battle droid. The droid's head snaps off and the droid falls over.
You wouldn't care to keep trying that, Xeth. On the idea that the Palace is under attack droids are now scrambling in large numbers to attack you. You want to stay as high as possible!
Lance, Faylar and co have made it to a large lift and are heading upwards. You can sense... you are not sure. But something about the near future makes you uncomfortable. Meanwhile firepower is starting to come in your direction as well now. You don;t want to stay here long.
It's too open to fight out here; you are two people against hundreds and sooner or later a shot will get through to you.
Meanwhile, the two fights continue down below.
As for yerssot... um... depends whether he comes back here, really! But he can have his new sabre if he does.

Gundy-
"I'll head up the stairs," says Kiel. "See if you can find a way to cut him off from behind."
Lance has an uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach. He doesn't know if it's a preminition or just his nerves.
"Xeth, a defensive position is good, but we have got to get out of here. We shall go up towards where Faylar and everybody are going. As we go up we should stay defensive, but also getting in some offensive." Lance says, "Are you with me?"
Small problem, Gundy- the lifts do not go to the balconies., Only the isolated stairwells link them, hence Kiel thinking they are the best place to catch him as he HAS to use them at some point.
So he is rather hoping you will 'cheat' to climb a level without using the stairs, to get behind the person in the robes.
Kiel starts to climb the stairs now, just as the robed figure goes out of sight on the middle level. When he comes back IN sight again he will be seconds away from the stairs down to the level you are on now.

Lance and Xeth- Below you, Arashan seems to be in trouble. Galder throws a sabre at him and Arashan twists backwards and falls to the floor to get out of its way. If it were not for the MANY people firing at Gald, Arashan would be dead.
Also, it is now Krisha's back to the balcony on level three, not Quam's. In their duel they have swapped places.
Belatedly, alarms ring as you get to the top level, which is now almost totally deserted. The last of Faylar's men are crowding into the lifts.
