Basically, yerss, if you actually want to be close aenough to the others to interact with them then they will all be under attack by the guys you are holding iff; hence your rearguard.

Mah ran up to the back of the big alien, with an ignited lightsabre, and attacked.

Ok, Mah, this creates a complicated cross-thread situation which I will deal with... in a bit. You aren't losing time here because without queeq you can't advance anyway.

How close is my group to Kuylen & Argentis ?

*Phinney keeps slashing and attacking, but FINALLY he recieves a short 5 second break until he goes again, Yerrs "are you alright, did you get here fine" Gundy "we can't spend this mush time on this, Mah shoulddestroy something quickly, or I fear that Kuylen will get away"

About 20 ft, Gundy, but that's not a clear run; you can only see the sabres glowing between cracks in crates.

Tapping extra energy from the Force, Gundark threw herself to the ground and rapidly rolled her body toward the crates where she could see glimpses of sabres clashing, taking off battle droids legs along the way with her own sabre.

Consider yourself right up by the crates, then!

With his free hand, Yerssot took at his communicator and switched it on...
"Any ideas over there? There are still some droids here you know..."

"We've got our hands full of droids here," Gundark answered as she got to her feet and ran along the row of crates, looking for an opening wide enough to wiggle through. She hesitated hacking her way through through the crates, not knowing what was in them, explosive or otherwise and jumping to the top would make her too exposed. She could sense Kuylen was still holding back much of his power from Argentis. But why ?

"So I take you can't handle a few droids more? Any other plans?"

(can I move crates? how many droids in front of me?)

Far too busy to move cratea, and lots (and one droideka).

Gundy, you have an opening that MIGHT work, but you'll need cover.

Gundark decided a nosedive through an opening ahead would be her best bet. Her only bet. She gestured briefly with her sabre, indicating to Xeth where she was going. "Cover me !"

"yerss how are you holding up there" *Sensing that Gundy was going some where, Phinney continued to fight droids and try to cover gundy as best she can*
