USH'S GAME EPISODE II- 'REVENGE'. Light Side Area

Started by Gundark76 pages

Gundark slowly opened her eyes, blinked once, twice. She could see nothing. Okay, Kellan...pull yourself together.... She began moving various body parts, nothing broken it seemed, but stabbing pains from every limb answered her efforts. At least the crates hadn't completely crushed her. Silently cursing Kuylen again, she began to struggle out of the debris...

(If only I was here earlier...)

Xeth, winded and confused, calls his lightsaber back to his hand after the thermal detonator went off. He ignites it and slashes his way out of the rubble and deflects a few laser bolts in different directions, not particularly aiming at anyone and hitting a few droids. He staggers a little, and then sets his mind strait. He views the room and sees Phinney standing a little apart deflecting laser bolts. Then he sees Yerssot bleeding on the ground and can't see Master Gundark. "Phinney! Help Yerssot!" he says. He runs to Yerssot and puts down some medicines from his medi-pack at his belt. "I'm gonna need this, hope you don't mind," Xeth says to Yerssot and picks up Yerssot's lightsaber. He ignites it and starts deflecting laser bolts away from the fallen knight. "Phinney will have to protect you Yerssot...I have to find Master Gundark," he says, and then uses the Force to call some large crate shards to make a barrier around Yerssot for a few seconds.

Xeth then hops off in the direction that the Force is telling him Master Gundark is. He deflects shots back at the droids and he stops where the Force tells him Gundy is. His mind flashes for a second to Kuylen and Argentis, but Xeth says "Screw the mandate!" and begins hacking his way through the rubble to Gundark. He uncovers her and looks at her. "Master Gundark! Master Gundark!" he shouts, panicked. He lifts Gundark to the sitting position, but tries nothing else, for she is in major pain, as he can sense. "Master Gundark, I could have been there! I could have helped push the detonator away! It's all my fault!" he says. Then anger starts to bubble within him. He sets down his entire medi-pack next to Gundark and then looks in the direction of Kuylen and Argentis. "This is all your damn fault Kuylen!!!" he shouts angrily. He then starts a rampage through the droids towards the Dark Jedi leader and the wayward knight.

(How's that for a returning post? 🙂 )

(heeeeeeeeey! I'm not fallen!...yet 😉 )

"It's not... that I ...need it ...to get up" Yerssot smiled...
He tried to slowly stand up

Xeth slashes more battle droids, and their parts go flying every which way, slashin with the two sabers. He turns off Yerssot's and throws it back to him.

Ok, the Geonosian has gone into SERIOUS mode! Luckily, he's good at that.

Gundy, there seemed to be a vaguely brown-ish and small being jabbering at you for a while there, but luckily it has gone now. And there seems to be a droid head on your head. Gosh, there is a lot of firing going on in here! You can barely hear it, though. And there is a medkit by you, it seems. Piece of luck!

The shrapnel of broken crates has badly lacerated your back, and is still stuck there.

Xeth, your head hurts rather a lot but your instincts are fine. The good news is that a lot of crates in this are have been cleared; the bad news is at this point you can see lots of droids but no sign of Argentis and Kuylen- who would also have had to get to some sort of cover, though their peril was far less.

Yerssot, a Phinney is coming towards you. You'd say THE Phinney but you don't want to commit yourself. Your left arm is not at all well.

(what's a phinney?)
(am I left or righthanded?)

A Phinney is some form of young Knight, possibly called Phinneas.

And it's your off-hand arm that is injured. I assumed you were right handed.

(I'm left so can you switch it than?)

Most certainly; your right arm is not at all well.

Xeth fights his way over the crate shards, hopping and leaping and twisting, although not as well as Argentis could. Deflecting shots and slashing droids, he fights his way to where Kuylen had been standing, and he shouts "Argentis! Argentis! Argentis! Help Argentis!" amid the roar of laserfire and his and Phinney's humming lightsabers.

The fighting is much easier right now, Xeth. Less droids around- and currently no droidekas.

Despite your screaming there is no sight of them. You'll need a bit of logic to work out where they may be.

Xeth slashes a few more battle droids and then goes towards the remaining crates, looking for areas that Kuylen or Argentis could have taken cover without being blown up.

Yerssot ripped off some pieces of his robe and tried to make a bind on the wounds.
After that he slowly moved his legs, trying to get up.

Xeth- hmm. It;s hard; most of what they might have taken cover in was blown apart by the secondary explosions.

Argentis is a nippy bugger and might well have gotten away scot-free; Kuylen, of course, knew what was going to happen before anyone. Logically, of course, unless one of them is dead they are still fighting, but you cannot hear them. But also logically they cannot have gotten far.

Yerss, the binind holds, though you will be at as penalty. You may stand. Things right next to you are currently quiet.

Xeth stops looking for them for a second to wipe out as many droids as he can. He then uses the Force to guide him to Argentis, not wanting to find Kuylen first.

You can vaguely feel Argentis' mind. Adranline is pumpinmg through him heavily; he is most certainly still fighting... it is somewhere you have been already.

(Back over the fallen crane?)

Can you remember what was near the crane?

"You might want to ... regroup ...first before you... want to go on a ...suicide mission"
Yerssot said to Xeth
