i don't know about that orbob

i think from the moment anakin hits that lava, he will be out of it
until he wakes up as a machine.
i always pictured a deep-fried unconcious anakin floating
in one of those healing water-tank things (im sure someone here
knows the correct name of what it is) and not being concious until
he is a machine.

palps would be standing there, anakin would ask "what happened, where's padme", sidious would say "she's dead" or even "you killed her" and anakin would flip out completely and become vader. then the next anakin/vader scene would be fully dressed vader on a mission, then will come some memorable lines as only james earl jones can deliver.

thats what i think anyway.

btw, i wonder, in epIII will we see an unmasked vader speaking in james earl jones voice? that would be soooooo wild.

I doubt it, I think it is the mask that delivers the Vader voice.

but what about those 2 little microphone things in front of unmasked vader's face? i always thought thats where the voice distortion came from.

all i know is that his entire mech/iron lung suit was switched off when the helmet came off, so naturally the whole voice distortion thing would not work as well.

wel duh vaders longs are mechenical like 2 pumps
he can't breath on his own and that make his voice harder
i think obi-wan (in ep3) wil penetrate anakin in the chest like darth maul
did on qigon-jin and then slice him in two

the point i was making is that it is possible that vader could speak in JamesEarlJones voice without the helmet, given the proper setting,
like his chamber seen in ESB.

i just think it would be tripped out and soooooooo creepy.

no rememeber on Episode 6 he took his mask off and sounded normal.

yes, but the suit was also broken and switched off when he spoke.

edit: what i am thinking is that its his SUIT that gives him the voice, and not the helmet. the helmet just seals his suit off when he's not protected in his chamber. notice the sssssssssssssss sound when the helmet comes off.
that was the sound of his suit (de?)pressurising, causing the iron lung to stop.
he was using his own charred lungs to gasp for air as he spoke, for the first time since....ep3 right? naturally he would sound like a broken old man.

so what if he spoke with his helmet off in ESB while he was in his chamber?
with the iron lung fully operational and his helmet off?
i bet he would still have the vader voice.

but his voice is younger in epIII so
with the vader mask on the vader voice will be deferent.
