Got dumped here! Guess you could say i was a stow away. Got found, obviously and they didn't mind me being there at first. Made a good temporary servent till the captain decided I'd outstayed my welcome and dumped me on the nearest inhabited planet. Wish he'd just killed me and saved me from this misery. Bin here a few days now and all there seems to be is a big palace wall and a dumb jungle. Seems to be nothing to do but spend my time in places like this. Atleast i can get a good drink and sme free entertainment" Edna raises her eyebrow towards some drunk singing and knocking over furniture in his attempts to reach the bar.
"Tianna. Self appointed seeker of something interesting in this hell hole. Pleased to meet you. Guess your like the Sherrif in these parts? Much call for your services round here?" Edna takes another swig of her drink. "Should you be drinking at this time of day? Or are you an off duty offical peace keeper?"
"All the time. Only earlier today I had to deal with some very un-coperative Jedi. Maybe I should tell them where you are. Or if I do will they end up dead like all those people your friends killed last night? Maybe that's serious enough for you?"
Two things you have just noticed, Edna. First, the piece of paper he is now withdrawing describes how this person is NOT a policeman. He has very recently been appointed a de facto officer in return for a ton of cash. This person is not a policeman but a mercenary of some sort... or... yes... a bounty hunter.
The other thing is that that hand of is does not show up as alive in the Force. That whole arm is artificial.
"I know you have friends. I know you arrived recently on a ship that used to belong to Kuylen and I know you are here to kill Faylar."
He draws slightly closer to you, Edna.
"You're worth a lot of money to me dead, young one. But a whole lot more alive. And even more than that if I can find Kuylen. So you can make this a whole lot easier on yourself if you tell me where he is and come quietly with me."
"Well, whether they are your friends or not the money on you is just as good," says Balek. "I guess you aren't much use to me if you can't tell me where Kuylen is."
ONE thing you can sense from him that might be helpful, Edna... he is wary. A blatant man might have opened up on you by now but he thinks that would be very dangerous. He's hoping you will give in.
