(and rex don't forget your sabre and the tracking beacon i gave you.)

Edna heads towards station Charlie 3 keeping in the shadows all the way. As she approaches her target she doesn't approach to close but instead lingers in the shadows near by with her hood forward. Not wanting to risk getting recognised. Quickly Edna checks that she is still wearing the device argentis gave her. She has a good view of the entrance and opens her mind to the force to sense for his presence.

Charlie 3 is a large security checkpoint built into the side of the Palace. There are four such stations on each side (Alpha, Barvo, Charlie and Delta sides).

When you apporach it, the device Argentis gives you starts to beep as it responds automatically to the security grid. The signal is evidently accepted as nothing attacks you yet.

You have about ten minutes before your appointment, Edna.

Edna decides to wait in the shadows for Argentis observing what is going on around her. And carrying on feeling for his presence or other unusual presences through the force.

Actually, I think you have some catching up to do with the LS thread so he can see you now...

Your powerful senses detect his approach a long time in advance. Shortly afterwards, a concealed door slides opne inside the checkpoint, and Aregtnis emerges. He starts to chat to the guards.

Edna waits for a moment to see if he is going to approach her or whether she should make for his direction.

Presently, Argentis stops talking to the guards and heads in your direction, Edna.

Edna leaves her place in the shadows and heads towards him. Keeping her head low

Argentis does not break stride as he walks past you and hands you a helmet.

"Put this on," he says. It is the same as his own.

Edna takes the helmet and puts it on. Checking for devices hidden inside it first. "Does it suit me?" Edna asks playfully. "So then is it time to deal yet?"

"Just keep walking," says Argentis. "We'll make one circle around and then walk straight inside. With any luck no-one will question you."

"As you wish." Edna replies to Argentis and then takes his lead and follows his strides. Edna's mind contantly deep in the force sensing for other unusually strong minds near by or anyone who happens to be watching them.

"WHy did you join Kuylen?" asks Argentis, as you walk.

"I didn't have much choice in the matter. He followed me until I gave in. EVerywhere I went he would find me. Of course I knew nothing of the force at the time. I thought I was unique and so when I realised that Kuylen too had powers of my own and he gave me an offer I couldn't refuse, I didn't!"

You reach the apex of your circle and start to head back to the palace.

"But didn't he... didn't what he did ever strike you as... well... wrong?"

"Wrong? Why would it be wrong? How can it be wrong to use the powers that we were given to the best of our abilities? The jedi order holds you back from what you really have the potential to become. Trust me, it would all become so clear if you could free yourself to view the force the way that we do."

"If the Jedi Order is so impotent why are they the greatest representatives of the Force ever seen in the Galaxy? You Dark Siders are so full of yourselves, just because of your impatience."

You are heading straight towards the guards now.

"Impatience? If I was that impatient I would not be dealing with you. I had another way to get into this place you know. I don't NEED you! I simply liked the sound of your offer. You have such a poor opinion of us. You're so misguided. Surely a group of force strong people like myself led by your own master cannot be that bad!"

"Oh but it IS. it IS that bad. because I know what he has become, and what he will make of all of you. The Dark Side twists and corrupts everything. Stay quiet!"

That last bit as you walk past the guards. They do not bother to challenge you. Argentis takes you through the secret entrance and closes the door.

"If I am corrupt then it is because of my treatment as a childhood. As far as I am concerned Kuylen is my saviour. You simply cannot see that. I will not allow the Jedi council to use me for my abilities the same way I always was. I am my own person, in charge of my own path and Kuylen understands that. WHy can't you?" Edna glances around and then back to Argentis. "Now are we here to deal or are you simply going to question me on my views of the Kuylen all day?"

"I'm just trying to get you to see the selfishness of your actions. You are using your childhood as an excuse to inflict your pain on others. The Jedi could teach you the folly of that!" Argentis rolls his eyes. "Kuylen was right. You can't reason with the Dark Side. Just... tell me where he is."
