"I don't need to eat as often as humans do, but I do like to consume the occassional expensive dishes when I go to France," said the vampire.

~alright, ang. i couldn't tell cause you didn't say his name and deity isn't here...~

Tal nods. "Yeah, well, I've never eaten French delacasies. Isn't one escargo or snails?"

Zanther arched an eyebrow at her for a moment, then chuckled at her ingnorance. "Yes, escargo are snails and are quite tasty in a special garlic sauce. But, that is as far as I go to eating anything with insects and the like." The vampire wound his way past the low hanging branches of the trees. "The last time I ate was like...what...a few months ago...I believe..."

~ang, you can have alyssa get up, find zanther and tal, and talk to them, if you want to. also, since alot of the people who used to play this game have dropped out or something, i'll try to recruit new members. is that okay?~

Tal nods blushing at her ignorance. "do you ever get hungry, I mean like humans do?" she said trying to keep the conversation going.

"Of course, but I know how to control my health and not eat more than I need to," replied Zanther. "Although, considering that I'm a vampire, I don't need to really concern myself with health...But I guess I got that habit from being surrounded my humans for so many years..."

Tal nods. "That's interesting." She says smiling warmly at her companion.

"My father never really apperciated the mortal kind, but my mother did. She taught me to respect life and I'll never forget what she taught me," said the vampire. Trailing off into space, looking away from Tal to look deeply into the depths of the forest and nearby stream.

Tal sighed. She was scared she had brought up a touchy subject. "What did your mother look like? I bet she was beautiful."

Still staring off into space, the vampire answered in an emotionless tone, "Yes, she was..." He enhaled deeply and then breathed out, watching his breath become fog on the night aire for a few seconds. "My mother was originally from somewhere in the United States, so she wasn't a Romanian native. She had long, silky embony hair with shocking streaks of twilight blue streaming down her shoulders and back. Her eyes were as blue as the ocean, very expressive. Human or vampire, she was fair of skin..."

Tal nods. She didn't want to tred where Zanther was uncomfortable. "I'm sorry if I have gone to far."

Dark blue eyes strayed from the landscape to the angel and smiled grimly at her. "It's okay, Tal. I'm not depressed about her death anymore for she had died ages ago when I was still little. What I do regret is that I didn't get the chance to avenge her death...Someone else did..."

Tal hung herhead. "That would be the greatest pain. I am deeply sorry you were not the one to get to avenge your mother."

"On the positive side, I'm glad it was someone I knew who avenged her while I was...somewhere else," said the vampire. Zanther had rushed that last bit of his reply, a bit of a lie of his whereabouts during that time. "The man who slain Dracula and his brides was my mentor and my mother's lover. He gave her freedom from my father and gave her the sort of love that my father could not."

Tal smiles. "That's good to hear. I'm glad you're alright." she lushes after she realizes what she had said.

"I guess it was alright to be stuck in Rome when my mentor went to Transylvannia to hunt Dracula down," replied the latter. "I'm assuming you already know who was the famous hunter that eliminated him...don't you?" To speak of his father so, may sound strange to others, but perfectly reasonable to those who knew Zanther and his background best.
