"I came to you because your essence is the strongest of the group. I am to join your journey. Where do you make camp?" He didn't make it clear which of the two he was talking to.

Immortal blue eyes turned to the human approaching them. Zanther scrutinized him a bit, wary of the stranger.

Mihai smiled slightly, realising his presence was unnerving what seemed to be a... vampire? For a second confusion reigned over his face, but he took control and it returned to a picture of serene calm. Looking aruond he asked, "I'll just take myself then, shall I?" and started walking in the direction of their camp.

Tzl smiled at Zanther. "I won't tell a soul." she says.

Zanther watched the mortal man go, wary of how over friendly this person was.

Tal sighed. "Think we should head back and watch him." she said reluctantly. She didn't completely trust the stranger but she didn't completely mistrust him.

~i'm waiting a bit for trickster and/or shadow king to pop in. right now i'm helping shadow figure his character out for the game. he'll join in soon~

Mihai knew they would be talking of him, but he kept heading back to the camp, reaching out with his sense for any other members of the party.

(So you're not going to try and stop him from entering your camp or anything? Given that you don't know him at all?)

The vampire kept his eyes trained upon the boy's back. "He only seems human to me, so I wouldn't worry too much, but still be on your guard." Zanther shifted a battle ready hand to his belt line, resting it near the belt loop where he kept his tojos.

Tal nods. her hand gripped her sword. she would quickly draw it with ease if need be.

Zanther watched for a moment longer and then began to follow the disappearing figure.

Tal's sighed and cursed her luck although she knew there was no such thing. She had gotten Zanther to open up and this stranger get's them both tense. She eyes bore holes into the back of Mihai.

Mihai, realising the angel and vampire(half - i know!) were behind him, stopped dead.
"So you chose to join me. That's good, I wouldn't want your comrade taking me for evil and trying to kill me. Things could have gotten messy."

"I wouldn't exactly say we're "joining" you, mortal," answered Zanther, voice measured and toneless, giving nothing away.

"If you don't mind me asking, but who are you?" Tal asks still wary.
