If anyone was to play Max Payne then I reckon Johnny Knoxville.....

When I was playing Max Payne (this is the first one mind), I kept thinking "wow this guy looks just like Johnny Knoxville"

Johny Knoxville doesnt have the build of the attitude for the film.By attitude I mean nobodys is gonna believe him to be married with kids and seeking revenge on the killers :/

Collision Entertainment has obtained the rights to a Max Payne Movie.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to craft the next successful video game icon into a larger-than-life film icon," said Faye of Collision. "We are extremely fortunate to have a great creative partnership on this project with the game's creators, 3D Realms and Remedy Entertainment. We hope this will be the first of many creative collaborations."

Who should star as Max Payne and who should direct? I would go for Colin Farrel for Max and John Woo for directing.

i think max payne should be played by freddie prinze jr because it looked like him in the first game

i think if they make a good cop drama it should be directed by the man that did hollywood homicide and dark blue because he knows how to make a good cop drama

I have a feeling this movie will be a lot like THe Punisher but with bullet-time

i hope they pull away from being like the punisher and give it a lot of story with a dark and gritty look,i was a fan of the first game lets hope they do it justice

You are certainly correct good sir. Marky Mark portrayed a most badass character in the Departed.
Although, i dig Mark's work, May Payne, to me, held very mature characteristics. Not only in age, but presence and swagger as well. I'm interested to see how it unfolds though, considering that Mark generally chooses to do films with superb prodcution values.
