Because for one thing,this is just called 'ask Hermione' as a title,It is not really Hermione seeing as howe she is a fictional character and secondly It is not ask Harry because in the books Hermione was classified as a 'know=it-all' and therfore would probably know the answer better thatyn Harry.No offense to Harry.what am I saying? yes news leaks about the movie say so. And I just assume Blaise is a guy even thought it is a girls name too. The way Parkinson is I doubt she would allow for another girl shaped friend

There are no male witches because all the males are wizards and all the females are witches. It should explain that in the book.
