Who is the most powerful Anime character ever?

The fact that some parts of DBU not beign canon and doesn't make sence is irrelavent becuase the feats still happened, this is the strongest character in ANIME, all things I have said happened in the anime or anime movie. The fact that some feats cotradict the story doesnt matter becuase the feats still happened. Also, me not knowing about any other anime is ridiculous, I spent 4 years of my life in japan and in my spare time i read mangas and watched anime of all sorts, when i returned to the states my lust for japanese works kinda stayed back there thoe. C'mon people, can anyone, other than the FEW people who already did, name an actual single character that is actualy the strongest. This is the most powerful anime character thread, not the who can beat DBU thread.

Non-canon means they didn't happen. Not officialy.

Say character A does feat B, in a non - canon material. Feat B can't be used in a debate for character A, since it is non - canon.

No, it's a fact. Unless you can prove to me how DBZ characters could beat the likes of L-sama,Tenchi, Dark Schneider, etc.

but until a single character no larger than a full grown rhino destroys a galaxy in literal seconds, i refuse to beleive that the likes of Tenchi, for example, stand a snowballs chance in hell.

ty, DBGT is canon to the anime to a high degree, Akira Toriyama did aprove of it and actualy designed the SS4 style.

He didn't write it or officially declare it canon, so therefore it's not. Besides, it has too many contradictions with the manga and plot holes.

The anime is contains HIS characters, which was spawned from HIS storys which are still used in DBGT, HIS art style also still remains prevailant through out the anime. Im pretty sure they would have to go through Toriyama to use his characters, storys, names, and destinctive likeness.

It's not canon, it's just a glorified fanfic, really. Toriyama only did a few character designs, he didn't write it, and he didn't declare it canon.

Light Yagami should really be on that list. He could take almost any of them that aren't gods of their universes.

All you have to counter our arguments is dismissing any feats by saying its non canon or not canon 😱 . Cut it out, come up with some better counter arguments because everything we have mentioned has been in the anime and are canon. And mentioning that the anime isnt canon is irrelevant since the topic is about the anime and not the manga.

Canon decides whether it's tru to the creators original intentions. Just because he is proving you wrong, doesn't mean he is wrong and you are right cause you say so..

Because the anime is NOT canon, why can't you understand this? The manga is the true, original story, the anime is only an adaptation.

While the anime does overinflate their power many times, showing them to be more powerful than they have ever been in canon, it also has done the opposite, showing them to be weaker than they ever were in canon.

Examples:

Goku and Picollo combined, using ki blasts, were struggling to hold up a bus.

Goku in SSJ form was hurt when Krillin tossed a rock at his head.

Goku was temporarily bested by a big fish.

Gohan had trouble carrying a bunch of firewood and then got hurt when it fell on his head.

There are many more.

The point is that the anime has so many plot holes and contradictions that it makes much more sense to just use the manga, which is much more consistent.

Erase them from existence, for one.

What do those matter? Simple little things like that dont change the story dramastically. Are there any huge story changers?

Huge story changes from the manga to the anime?

Let's see:

The whole Garlic Jr. saga?

Never happened in the manga.

At least 60% of the fight scenes in the Frieza saga never happened in the manga.

The Cell saga did better, but still had a ton of filler.

The Buu saga was over twice as long in the anime as it was in the manga (due to all the filler).

No, in the anime his power was ridiculously inconsistent.

For example, he was actually doing better against Kid Buu at SSJ2 than he was at SSJ3 (in the manga he never fought kid Buu at SSJ2, he just went to SSJ3 immediately).
