But the thing is, if character A has done something far more impressive to showcase his or her abilities than character B, yet people refuse to acknowledge it because they like character B, what else can they be?
You're a fanboy if you fail to listen to reason, especially when proof has been displayed. In this case, one character is obviously superior than another, but people continue to either wank up the inferior character, or just plain ignore it.
That's a fanboy, no matter how you much you try to cover it up.

If I see character A lifting a giant boulder, and character B not being able to, which one do you think would be stronger? Obviously character A. But if people continue to wank character B even though he clearly can't lift the boulder, and have completely ignored the numerous amount of times it's been brought up, then character B supporter is just a fanboy devoid of any reason. This isn't a "which character is cooler" discussion. This is a "which character is stronger" discussion. And feats are facts.
This reminds me of those Pre-crisis Superman VS Goku threads. Only ignorant people and/or fanboys believe Goku stands a chance. He doesn't.

Superman has punched a hole in the time space continuum.
He can light an entire star with his eye beams.
He can fly from one galaxy to another in UNDER a second.
He can actually PUSH planets around with ease.
Has Goku ever demonstrated that kind of power, strength and speed? No. Therefore, it's only logical that Goku would lose in a fight against PC Superman. If you doubt the feats and still think Goku has a chance, then you ARE a fanboy. One that's just in denial.
L-sama is omnipotent. It doesn't matter if Goku can fly FTL, blow up planets or have martial abilities. He's still going to lose.
I've argued against the DBZ fans here and most of them agree that Goku will LOSE to L-sama.

Frieza has never fought against Buu. Does that mean Frieza has a chance against him? No. Because Buu is clearly more powerful. You don't need a fight to demonstrate how much more powerful somebody is.

It takes Goku at least a few seconds to actually use instant transmission. By the time he's finished concentrating on where he wants to go, Superman would have already blitzed him.

Tick tick tick ❌ Wrong, wrong, completely wrong. It means that anybody that posts crap like "Goku is stronger than x-character" w/out even providing reasons as to why, they're a fanboy. Especially when they mention the character and have already read the feats provided. It's not even a matter of agreeing or disagreeing. It's about running your mouth w/out backing yourself up.

Again. Read the posts. People here have countlessly told you that L-sama is omnipotent. That's beyond anything Goku did. It's not because "I said so" it's because logically, an omnipotent being, who can do whatever she wants to is outright more powerful than somebody who can't. That's different from "Goku can beat so and so w/out even fusing" which is not only one-sided, but completely unbacked.

Oh, then I guess we won't know if Goku can beat Naruto in a fight, even though Goku can move at least the speed of light, can one shot entire planets, punch around mountains with ease, has enough power to shake the planet just by powering up and so on. While, OTOH, Naruto... can't do any of those things.
But oh well, because those two didn't fight, I guess Naruto actually stands a chance!
