The explosion didn't kill Freeza so it's not hard to imagine Gokou might be able to survive. Freeza says he can survive in space but Gokou can't. He knew Gokou was a saiyan so why would he say that? The only time it shows any of the saiyans in space are movies which aren't canon and the filler part with Vegeta and Nappa. Also Bulma was on Namek along with Krillen. Namek had an atmosphere like Earth.
L Sama has yet to destroy something she hasn't created. Until she does (which she wont) I see her simply manipulating what she created. Gogeta on the other hand has shown he is powerful enough to destroy things that have nothing to do with him.
If Gogeta isn't the strongest the the Eternal Dragon is.

BTY, the Black-Star Shenlong is the the strongesr anime character, he can do anything (literaly).
See if somebody can create something they seem a lot more powerful to me than somebody who just uses blast or fighting skills to destroy something. I mean if the person destroyed something on a molecular level or something then that would be powerful but not the way Gokou, Terry Bogard, Kenshiro, or any other shonen anime guys do.

Now some one who has been seen destroying something that is not there's displays true power to me. Not to mention he can't be killed because he can Instant Transmission back to life.
And let's not talk about Black-Star Shen Long (He is not the creator of the DB Universe either, which leads me to beleive, he can effect what is not his) who has the power to do anything he wants. He could just make his opponents perish by wanting it (being the only Dragon capable of killing people).
People just think the DB characters aren't that powerful because it's a shonen anime, but that is very wrong.

-The fact that Black-Star Shen Long is not around any more is irrelevant, because Gogeta isn't around anymore either. The Point is Black-Star Shen Long is an anime character. He can just make L Sama disappear.
-L Sama hasn't proven she can create what it takes to destroy Gogeta, she has only created her own universe that holds nothing that rivals the might of Gogeta. What is the point of creating something that your opponent can destroy? I don't think she has the power to create anything remotely close to the power of Gogeta
